RedTec 2m Scart to VGA cable/lead (Scart Male to VGA Female) Black

Like with a few other buyers, this cable proved to be of no use to me. I was trying to connect my old Humax HDR FOX-T2 (via SCART) to an old(ish) PC monitor but alas, it doesn't work.However, we have all been warned that this may be the case and the cable itself looks robust and the VGA MM connector is a bonus. I am sure that it will come in useful in the future and at below £5 it is not a huge loss. As for the vendor, it was packed very well and was supplied very quickly and I commend him for this.

I wanted to buy this lead to hook up Digital TV box and old consoles to my Optoma projector which has a VGA/SCART input on it. I couldn't get the cable to work at all. Upon investigating the cable and checking its pin outs, it appeared to have been made completely wrong.I contacted the seller and got fully refunded immediately without even having to post the cable back! So I can commend them very highly for that. It's when things go wrong where a distributor really shows their colours and I really can't fault them for assisting on this one. I'll need to look round for another cable or solution now.

I did buy this without reading about it first as it says it dose not work on pc screens i whated to connect a big pc screen to a dvd cd player and entertaintment centure no good for that it is my fault so i am not asking for my money back as i did not read it however i gave it three stars for it came within a few days and was a good looking lead and i am sure it would work for what it was made for just not for what i need read what it does before buying and contact seller if your not sure about it

There are plenty of warnings about what this lead cannot do, and I bought it to connect a standard dvd player to an lcd monitor, which at least one reviewer said it works, and the specifications state that it should work.To be fair, the product seems very well made, and even comes with an additional female converter end piece.However, the product did not work when I connected it, so I also purchased a proxima vga converter unit but it did not work with that either.Thus, I am baffled as to whether it is me, the product or something else.So, unfortunately in my case, it has immediately been retired to my redundant gizmo and cable box rather than returned, just in case I find a way in the future to make it work.

I did order the wrong cable, but that was my fault, there are some very helpful people to contact and they have helped me a lot and I'm sure they would be happy to help you too! contact them, if you have any problems, i don't think their phone number works so use email!

Got this for our tv, but found problem wasn't with the lead but will use this in future.
