7-Port USB 3.0 Hub

The best 3.0 hub I've tested so far.
First of all, this is probably the best designed USB hub I've ever seen. It's sturdy, sits flat with the ports on the top. The ports are well spaced so even the bulkiest of flash drives and cables don't interfere with each other. The unit includes and AC adapter so I can charge things (like my Kindle) via USB even when the computer is shut off, or use several USB powered devices (like my external hard drive) at the same time. A lot of other hubs are unable to do either. I love the LED next to each port which tells me that the port is active. I love that there is no noticeable drop in data transfer speed between hooking up a drive directly to the PC or via this hub, which is another thing other hubs have trouble with. There is one drawback that keeps me from giving this a 5 star rating and should be clarified. This device is backward compatible with USB 2.0, which means that you can plug a USB 2.0 or older device into this 3.0 hub, but you CAN NOT plug this 3.0 hub into an older port. While that isn't a big deal for me, it might be an issue for anyone hoping to use it with an older computer.

!st 1 didn't work, replacement seems fine so far.
I returned the original one I received the day after I got it because, although it worked fine with USB 3.0 flash drives, 2.0 drives wouldn't show up in windows explorer, and I tried several just to be sure.I asked for a replacement and got it a few days ago. So far it works just fine and recognizes both types of drives. I have not yet used it with large enough files to have any idea how fast it is, however. Hoping for the best.It is easy to set up, but one thing I noticed is, it took both of them about 5 minutes to install drivers on a fast computer with fast internet, so be patient. Eventually it will work, and once it does, if you get a good one, you're all set.

Not Long-Lived
Lasted a couple of years and just died. Tried new power supply, but no go. Disappointing. Worked well when it did work, but have less expensive units working longer.

Hot Topic
This unit does what it says it does but runs hot. Keep it in a cool and well ventilated area to keep the temp of the unit down. I'm not sure if the heat it generates impacts performance of the devices plugged in to it, I'll need to test and see.

Great value for money works as advertised (as long as you bypass the driver limitations)
Works as expected. Good value for money. Somehow it doesn't power my usb 3.0 enslosure with 1tb drive. Might be the enclosure not the hub coz it powered my 2tb just fine.Update 17 Oct 2015: been using it for a couple of weeks now. The above issue fixed itself somehow and all is well. Using it with a 2gb HDD and a TP Link Archer T4UH wifi AC receiver and it works with no hiccup whatsoever. There is no need to unplug it when booting up unlike the other hubs on the market. The only downside is that TP Link has not released a driver for Windows 10 yet. Plug and play also doesn't work as it will default to some generic TP link driver. The fix? Install the Window 8 driver! (Don't use the Windows 8.1 driver, somehow it doesn't work...)

won't work on 3.0
I got the hub so my USB 3.0 hard drives and flash drives could work at their speed, they don't work all the time when i plug them in. They are WD My Book and SanDisk Ultra Dual USB 3.0. this hub has never recognize the My Book and i have to switch sockets to get the SanDisk work. A USB 3.0 hub that doesn't work with 3.0 is not good. It works fine with all my 2.0 USB drives, but cost a lot more. I have been using this hub for about three weeks. Went to their website when I could not get it to work and go to the device website and get software. SanDisk and My Book are plug and play. Looks nice but does not work.

My review of: Wrench 7-Port "USB 3.0" Hub
This works just fine. I received it on time (prime). I bought it to take advantage of all of my new(er) PC's USB 3.0 ports. I have two USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 devices plugged into it and they all work well.Build quality is good and the customer service is great with follow up by the company (Riders Retail). At the time I bought this it was about a third less in price than most of the other USB 3.0 hubs. So this unit was kind of an 'outlier' and unknown but I relied on the reviews which were mostly positive... and so I'm adding mine!

Ok, but.
My apple SuperDrive won't work on this hub. I have to keep it plugged into the iMac to use it.
