Great Luggage for Extended Stay Trip
I purchased this luggage in order to transport leather jackets, etc., for traveling for work in DC for an extended stay. I didn't want the jackets and other clothing to arrive wrinkled and, for the leather, maybe ruined. I carried shoes, under clothing, socks, beauty products, a heart monitor, folders and files, laptop cables and other cords, etc, and etc. It all fit, and it all arrived great. I didn't have to iron a single piece of clothing. When I arrived back home, and after I wiped the dust off my new suitcase, it emerged looking brand new. I heard a man tell his wife when I pulled this case off the conveyer belt, "now that's good luggage." It is heavy. After it was packed with all my things the case weighed 48 lbs, just under the heavy luggage charge, but that might be because I had so much hang-up clothing in it., about 15 hangers. Interestingly, when I took it off the conveyer belt in DC the case was wobbly and I could barely roll it -- it wanted to veer off in different directions. But it didn't do that on the trip home. I concluded that it matters how you pack the zip up portion inside the garment bag. I'd put some books in that section making it too heavy on the outside portion of the bag. I packed differently on the return flight and, voila, the bag rolled perfectly. I love it and glad I purchased it. I'm now considering buying a Tumi carryon.

Best suitcase ever!
My husband has been using a large suitcase for vacation where we take his clothes on hangars and fold up into the suitcase. Then a smaller suitcase for shoes and extra stuff that doesn’t need to hang. this suitcase does it all! Easy to pack and unpack a ton of clothes and accessories and still have room for items to take home bought on vacation! Highly recommend ! Easy 4 wheels to roll through the airport once picked up at baggage claim!

Loved this for traveling!
This was exactly what I needed. I'm a big guy, 6'6, upper end of 200lbs, I also have big shoes, size 15. I needed something to take on a business trip that would allow my suit jackets to remain half way decent along with shoes. I was able to fit 2 pair of shoes, and clothes for 5 days in this one bag. For anyone who has smaller shoes, you could easily fit more, or if you didn't pack as much as I did. I'm one of those people who packs a little extra for the just in case. The maneuverability of this bag was just awesome, no problems rolling over anything. The TSA locks worked, as once I got to my destination I had a little memento from when the TSA searched my bag. Going on another business trip for a few days and I expect this bag will do the job I need. Thanks

Save your money
Nice looking luggage! However, gave as birthday gift and recipient said was just like his old one (which was not nearly close to this expensive bag). Disappointing to hear…If this is similar to any other garment/ luggage bag, then look elsewhere to save your dollars for something else.

Awesome, for the right peeps
I remember purchasing my first Tumi suitcase -- and I still have it 20 years later -- a mini dude I needed to properly carry a suit for my first legit biz trip. The brand is that go to name for a certain type of dude, exec, or fancy dressed traveler and for good reason. I'll skip the fan boy stuff as, well, I don't really fall into those categories anymore ... and focus on the qualities of this specific piece of luggage.First, it is huge. Like massive for a suitcase in 2024. I can't imagine using this unless for extended vacations, international travel or attending a formal occasion with my partner and having to bring several nice outfits along. But, it's also super light -- almost as light as my old tumi case which is 1/3 the size.It has all the requisite Tumi touchpoints -- sleek simple styling, part James Bondian numerous secret compartments, part military styled kevlar inspired tough stuff materials. This bag is particularly notable for feeling unbreakable but still being, well, not super heavy. that is a major plus for this size suitcase.Exterior compartments are smartly organized and sized -- for various needs. Love how the shoe storage is set up as an interior pocket fully zipped away. It can really hold 3 full suits alongside other clothes, I'd say, or 2 suits and 2 dresses. A feat in and of itself, which again is for particular trips. Though, you can see how this thing can really pack away a ton of stuff -- so could be a long weekend bag for 2, nice for me and the SO, or me and the kiddo, if needed to save space. And as always -- some great tumi pluses, the detachable toiletries compartments. Always give you the hook to hang your bag in its unfolded state - so smart. netted pockets for laundry (no separate sac in this one). and reliable handles. On the maybe not, meh side -- the wheels are fine, but while tucked under the case, they do pop out when spinning, can see that being a problem, getting clipped snipped or cracked when tossed around. The lock, while nice to be able to secure the zippers, is on the side ... for such a big case that is not easy to lift when full ...that side location just feels like it could get annoying. And well, the price ... if you're not super loaded, and about to drop 1400 bones on luggage, well it should be sent from the heavens. Not sure this really rises to that level, but solid, handsome, and convenient enough to secure 4 stars. If you'll go nuts for the integrated lost luggage marker complete with QR code, you'll be stoked ... if that kinda thing is not a draw, maybe reconsider this level of spend.

Great luggage for business travel.
After much research, I started looking at TUMI. This is great piece for business travel. It also comes with some packing cubes as well.
