Chesapeake Bay Candle Scented Candle, Courage + Wisdom (Teakwood Incense), Coffee Table

I received the "peace + tranquility" candle as a gift for Christmas. I loved the smell so I wanted to try others. "Joy + laughter" smells amazing. I will say "peace + tranquility" has a more clean/refreshing smell, while "joy + laughter" is more sweet- almost like a perfume. I plan to try more scents in the future because I love these so much! Definitely would recommend. PS. I am sensitive to strong scents (sometimes get headaches from them) and these do not bother me.

I use a lot of candles from different brand because my husband smokes sometimes (off the window) and I keep putting candles in every room to make sure there is no smell. This is probably one of my favorite ones, not too strong, very pleasant and nice smell, not overwhelming but it works to camouflage bad odors. Ordering more!

For the price It's not a bad scented candle option.I like to have a candle burning in my studio but I don't like to burn my expensive candles there so I'm always looking for more affordable options. The problem is I haven't found a single affordable option that does not tunnel. It's like they just can't get the right wicks for the diameter of their candles. This one tunnels as well (even with a first burn of 4+ hours) BUT the tunneling seems to sort itself out after the third or fourth burn, which is acceptable. The throw on this candle is very nice and it burns cleanly as long as you keep the wick properly trimmed. As such I'll repurchase again for use in my studio.

I absolutely live for candles! Doesn't matter what brand, I just do. Then Amazon came along and got introduced to Chesapeake Bay! Unfortunately I received 1 of the 3 candles I ordered and it was completely shattered so they are sending me a new one at no charge! (WHY I LOVE AMAZON.)I orderedSimplicity + HopeReflection + ClarityPeace + TranquilityI currently have Simplicity + Hope lit and it's delicious, and minty! Very similar to Stress Relief from Bath & Body Works.If I could have a lifetime supply of these I would sign up for it! Extremely satisfied with my purchase and also extremely sad one came broken :(

looks beautiful, and smells amazing! Saw few reviews here that the fragrance can be smelled only around the candle, i light it in my living room and can smell it on the second floor i every room.

I love candles and have purchased just about every brand offered at amazon and Chesapeake Bay is by far my favorite. I've purchased both small candle bundles and at least a dozen medium sized candles. Every scent is my favorite but right now I'm loving "love & passion","peace & tranquility" and "Balance & Harmony"The candles themselves are beautiful. the wooden topper is a nice touch. the scent, of the smaller candles, is strong enough for a bedroom and doesn't fade as the candle is burning. 4 piece sets would make a great gift.haven't had a bad candle, broken candle or a miss yet.highly recommend

I purchased this product because it popped up as well-liked and not too expensive. As is often the case on Amazon, you buy something and you're not sure if it will turn out to be a dud. I am pleased to write that this product has not disappointed and I am overall quite satisfied. The scent of the oils is actually quite mild and pleasant (though we are using it in a large space). I feared that it might be too obtrusive or overpowering as many scented products tend to be. The frosted glass is quite nice and the oil, so far, has lasted for many weeks. It's probably already been a couple of months and the fluid level has only declined by about 1/3. The base has a slight gumminess, which I didn't expect, but now appreciate because it probably prevents unwanted spills. All in all, this is a winner and, compared to similar items, well worth the price.

Don’t expect this product to be natural. It comes in a hazard warning of skin and eye irritation. It’s cheap perfume liquid. Not what I was expecting.UPDATE: I threw this product out within 30minutes of delivery. It was giving me a headache and the smell was too pungent. What a waste of $.ZERO stars but it won’t publish a review without a minimum of 1 star.

Not very strong scent but looks goodWick has an annoying habit of creating a blob every time it’s lit

The first time I purchased these candles, they arrived broken.Amazon Customer Service, helped me replace them. It took about 5 days.The second set was beyond perfect, the scent is light but fruity and warm.I gave one as a gift, as the glass container is quite elegant, and it was very well recieved.

Las velas de buena calidad (esas cuyo olor se difumina bien, que tienen buen pabilo y se consumen hasta el final) son MUY caras. En este caso, el precio es accesible y se obtiene un producto de bastante buena calidad. La vela es estupenda para habitaciones pequeñas (idealmente un baño) pues el olor en estos casos es intenso sin ser invasivo. Llevo ya varios meses con esta versión de olor muy agradable y suave de tonos más bien florales, nada ácido ni cítrico, pero tampoco tan dulce. En general, creo que la descripción del propio fabricante respecto al olor es fiel con lo que el producto ofrece. OJO: la vela no rendirá tan bien en espacios muy amplios (diferencia fundamental con una de calidad premium) pero es súper funcional en espacios más reducidos. Hasta ahora, la que tengo se va consumiendo perfectamente, sin problemas con el pabilo y sin hacer un mal túnel, por el contrario, la cera va bajando gradualmente y de forma pareja.

PROS: Nicely packaged - strong glass container, (includes lid), is very strong and does not get hot to the touch - provides nice decor.CONS: Scent is VERY faint - can barely detect it, and only if very close to the candle. Decent burning time but NOWHERE NEAR as long as advertised.Basically, a good candle, but TOO OVERPRICED considering it's drawbacks.

I'm not sure how this candle got such high reviews. I bought 2 difference scents from this brand and was disappointed by both for the price. The scent is dull, really dull. You can get Bath & Body Works candles from the same price and will last 50% longer and smell 100% better. Save your money.

La vela tiene muy buen tamaño (pedi el tamaño Large) y el frasco y la tapa son lindas, de buena calidad y re-usables pero en cuanto al producto de interés (osea la vela) no puedo decir mucho, huele rico si le hueles directo con la nariz en el frasco pero prendida la verdad es que es casi imposible percibir el aroma. Quede un poco desilusionada ya que por el precio pensé que la inversión valdría la pena por un rico aroma pero no. No sirve mas que para decoración.

I ordered 6 Peace + Tranquility candles as Christmas presents and received 6 Balance + Harmony candles. Each box says that it contains 1 Peace + Tranquility medium candle so there was obviously a mix-up at the warehouse. They really smell nice, but I would have liked to get what I ordered. I'm worried that if I reorder and return the wrong ones, I still may end up with the wrongs. For that reason, I'm keeping the ones I got and giving them 4 stars.

Not sure what I was expecting but this scented candle fails to even reach 30cm of horizontal radius of smell whereas the Jo Malone candle fills the room in minutes so that I don't get to burn it for long.In order to get the scent, you'd have to litterally put your nose on top of it. I suppose paying 3 times the price of this very faint scented candle is worth it. Oh well... wasted money.Good looking product however and well, the candle does burn slow and bright... there's to that... but 30$ really?!

This candle will be a gift to my mother in law, it came well protected and the smell is delightful. The frosted glass candle holder looks beautiful and luxurious. Highly recommend!

I am so in love with this scent i have these candels throughut all my rooms. i', particularly enamoured with the peace and tranquility scent.

I absolutely love this product and will order it again. The fragrance is heavenly and lasting. The candles burn for a long time. I keep the wooden tops to use them as coasters (after applying some moleskin onto the underside). Courage and Wisdom is my other favorite.

I bought the one called stillness and honesty it smells awful. It’s ok when you’re near the diffuser but step 2 steps away and it is awful and gives you a headache. I’ll be returning this.

This candle exceeded expectations and the person who got it as a gift absolutely loves it. Added to the wonderful scent is the fact that it is non-refundable toxic.
