TECKWRAP Chrome Silver Adhesive Craft Vinyl Roll 1ftx5ft

Used this to refinish a badly scratched base of aN expensive chrome standard lamp. I tried sanding and polishing, spraying with chrome paint and had almost given up when I saw this. It couldn’t get any worse and I thought for the cost what have I got to lose?The results were amazing! It’s an exact match to the rest of the lamp and you can’t tell it’s been recovered. The base is round with chamfered edges so not the easiest thing to get a perfect finish onTop tip: Use plenty of soapy water on the surface you’re applying it to and a soft rubber squeegee to avoid air bubbles. For small chamfered edges let it overhang for at least 24 hours before trying to stick it down to allow the soapy water to dry out fully. Then gently heat it with a hair dryer and press it over the edges with a soft cloth. Finally trim it with a scalpel and you’d never know it wasn’t a sheet of metal.Top quality stuff

Really pleased with this vinyl, was sceptical from the other reviews about it not cutting very well but it worked absolutely fine on my cricut maker and it was really easy to weed and the fact that it has the protective film that needs removing before use is great as it would just be full of scratches if it didn’t have this. Kind of common sense that the film needs removing before use, and there was a clear label explaining this. So I would say I really don’t see what the bad reviews are for, as this vinyl is really high quality and I will definitely be a returning customer.

Love this vinyl. I wanted it for my crafting and It was easy to work with. When I first got it I thought it had scratches on it but then remembered it had a protective film on. Once removed it was lovely and shiny

This is my new favourite vinyl and I want to use it on everything! The rose gold is so pretty - I love how it looks on wine glasses. I also ordered the gold and silver but haven't used it yet. It cuts beautifully and is easy to weed and work with. Would definitely order again.
