It charger is a little chunkier than the original one but it works well and seems well made, my only concern was that charger got really hot! I would recommend this item as an excellent cost effective replacement for the original.

Short life span
Purchased to replace a lost lead. It lasted 5 months then stopped working.

Broke after 6 months use.
It's cheaper than the original but I had hoped it would at least work for 12 months. Unfortunately it has broken down on me with little warning. I have bought a replacement elsewhere that has a 12 month warranty.

Good so far
Came next day. Used once, charged without problems. Charging light is easily visible and, whilst the magnet isn't quite as strong as the original, it's not a problem. Haven't tried to use the computer while charging yet. Will update if I find any problemsEdit: Laptop works fine whilst charging. No trackpad issues as others have mentioned

Plugged it in and connect it to my MS Surface Pro 7. Tried several times. It does not charge. It appears to be ill fitting.Since leaving review, I have had several emails, all the same, asking me to remove the review.
