Good everyday coffee
I began ordering these coffee beans six months ago when my city was on Covid lockdown and I couldn't get to either of the stores where I normally buy my beans and at one of the places (Whole Foods), the Colombian beans were all sold out even for delivery. At a time when everything was dark and dreary what a pleasant surprise - these Don Pablo beans are really very good and they are well-priced. They are always shipped pronto, too. Six months on, I'm still purchasing them. They make a quality everyday cup of coffee and that suits me fine.I like them better than the ones I used to purchase locally for the same price. They seem more fresh and full-bodied. I think the Whole Foods Colombian is better - richer and their beans are not shiny like these - but they are also more expensive so I'm perfectly happy with Don Pablo. I'm not a coffee snob but I do like a decent cup of Colombian and these beans manage that.

The aroma rich and flavorful.
This bean coffee is fantastic. The aroma when I opened the bag was incredible, and the brewed coffee is rich and flavorful. Highly recommend!

High quality for a budget value!
For the price you pay Don Pablo's whole bean coffees are always fresh and always great tasting. My only problem with them is that they tend to bog down my grinder. They're a little bit oily. Other coffee brands don't have that and I can go a couple of weeks without cleaning my grinder. With Don Pablo's, I'm cleaning it every other day. However, I still choose them over and over again, because the coffee is worth the hassle.Update: I bought this in late November. I opened it in mid to late January. It's now February. I still have almost a pound of it left. However, it still brews like it was the first day that I opened it. I haven't found any other off the shelf brand that is that fresh. My complaint was with the oiliness. However, there is another small complaint. They only seem to know how to do dark roasts. Colombian coffee, imho, is better when roasted medium to medium dark roast.

Delicious For espresso shots
I’m super picky about my coffee. I was a bit skeptical about the high ratings because sometimes they are hyped up due to offers from the seller. I decided to give this brand a go though and I’m SO GLAD I DID! The beans were fresh with a good oil on them. They ground perfectly for my espresso portafiller. I was able to get a beautiful crema and a smooth rich espresso shot. The flavor wasn’t bitter at all but instead was delicious. I appreciate the low acidity since I suffer from GERD and have to be careful about high acid foods. This didn’t bother my reflux at all (even after 4 shots- yes I know 🤪). This is definitely worth a purchase. It will be a repeat buy from me.

Whether you were intentionally searching for the perfect cup or not... You have found it.
THE. BEST!Tasting is my life. Literally. I am a Sommelier. I can tell you that this coffee, in my opinion, is perfect.Bold, but very smooth, slight hint of caramel and dark chocolate, good balance of acidity without that "burnt" taste many other coffees give you.Searching for the right coffee is like a journey one usually doesn't realize they are on. They go day to day trying this and that. Until that random order, or friend's recommendation leads them to this. You know you have found the right coffee when you first open the bag, as the aroma is nothing short of what you should smell when watching Hollywood coffee commercials. Then when you see the beans roasted to the faultless equivalent of an artisan chocolate truffle piece, you understand you are about to enjoy something special. The light, oily sheen of fresh perfection surmizes the realization that what you have been drinking up until now has been a dried up representation of broken promises. As you indulge that first sip there is a peaceful hush as if the whole world goes quiet for a half second. No war, no politics, no drama, and then you slowly return to earth, imbibed with the knowledge that this is the culmination of someone's truly back breaking labor and it almost doesn't even seem fair.Value? Priceless!!!With that a warning label should be added to the bag. **Not for the weak willed, as only those with strong conviction will POSSIBLY stave off the inevitable addiction**. But there are worse things in life, and this is NOT one of them.So enjoy your cup of angels singing, and warm sunshine on your face. Put the checkmark next to this on the bucket list and move to hangliding or traveling to Japan (both I highly recommend), and live your life.In all seriousness though, this cup is SO good that I find myself refusing to get coffee out somewhere if I know I will be home in a "reasonable" time-line. This will ruin "other coffee" fornyou. I use this in my Espresso machine, but have had everything from the Long pull, to the Cappuccino, Americano and even a regular brewed cup of coffee and this does NOT disappoint.Enjoy responsibly.
