This book is fantastic. It clearly explains every detail and has perfect illustrations of how to do each trick. They are perfect too because they’re all easy to learn but have amazing outcomes! Great tricks to do at the dinner table, fun card tricks, even tricks you can involve the curious kids who wanna know “how’d you do that??” I’m just an uncle but this book has been wonderful in engaging my nieces, entertaining them and making me the cool uncle in the family. Highly recommend!!

My son is 1.5 and everything in this book is pure gold. I'm a busy mom and don't have time to mess around with complicated tricks. I just want simple things to impress and distract my son. This has everything! Lots of it is for older kids like card tricks and logic puzzles but there are plenty of toddler gems in here. I learned the ear coin trick in like 10 minutes. It's well laid out with pictures to show every step. I read the whole thing cover to cover in like an hour and picked out some of my favorite tricks. Can't wait to impress and amaze my son and then teach him the tricks when he's older. Magic is a much better meltdown distraction than most other things I've seen or tried.

The tricks, etc. in this book are very do-able and extremely well explained and illustrated. I used it to put on a magic show on Thanksgiving and with my 5 and 7 year old grandkids who were both full participants. They loved it and learned a lot in the process of preparing for our show!!

There's a lot of fun stuff in this book. Very easy to learn and practice. Will definitely keep my nieces and nephews entertained for years to come

I gave this to a couple who will become grandparents soon.The tricks are explained well and will interest a range of children. A truly fun book!

there were enough tricks that you can master with little practice while a number of tricks were either too difficult to learn or would take too long a period of time to master. However, there were enough tricks that with a little bit of time you could wow your kids and grandkids.

This is a very good introduction to magic tricks. I have a large magic library and this book is probably the one I'll recommend to anyone wanting to learn a few tricks (Schindler's Magic with Everyday Objects is also a great place to start.) The puzzles section is also super in Grandpa Magic and requires no dexterity or "finger flinging."

for kidding the grandchildren...they love it so far...
