Good quality
I'm pleased with this purchase. Well made, with decent materials. It's attractive as well. Quality twisted dark brown material cable and black online switch, with brushed finish metal lamp holder. Looks great in the room. I haven't tried using a lampshade with this light fitting, but I believe this will take a shade if required, using the included adaptor. The only downside I can possibly see is that the bare bulb is a dust magnet, but that would be the case with any light fitting with a bare bulb (as you can see in photo!)

Exactly what I wanted
Bought these to create an old looking light feature using this and a antique style bulb. Apart from the cord being way too long for what I wanted it for these were perfect and look great now they are all put together and hanging. Very good quality.

Bought this to use in my conservatory and also because it has a long lead as needed it high up and the switch is at a easy height, really pleased with my purchase

Excellent for creating an industrial style lamp
Excellent cable for my 'industrial' style lamp. It doesn't come with the bulb which I didn't realise when I purchased, clearly I need to read things properly. However that being said I'm still really pleased with it. It's a woven cord in dark brown so against our dark green wall isn't really visible. Bought a big vintage bulb to go in it in a warm tone and it looks great. Picture shows it hanging whilst off, as you can see the cord is hardly visible which I love.
