I have a burr coffee grinder that has a three prong convient plug. Somehow they did not ground the plastic container; which collects static electricity, and spews the ground coffee all over the counter top. l plugged in the Grounding cord with anti static (with out the grounding bracelet), and touched the plastic container with the alligator clip. NO more static electricity and no ground coffee all over the counter top!!! PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!

On the first day and with little tension against it, the white plug-end part came un-soldiered from the blue wire itself. Now I am sad.

The first one broke such that the cable came out of the adjoining piece that connects the wrist strap to the wall cable, hence, the low durability rating. I have a replacement now, but additionally, the alligator clip that comes with it has fallen apart and remains useless. Fortunately, I don't really need to use that attachment. The stretch seems good -- I am only about 5 feet from the wall and supposedly this can stretch 15 feet. I feel a slight tug mostly from the weight of the cable. What I really want is an ankle strap version, but I have yet to find it on Amazon. Anyway, I am presently using the replacement I received while I walk on a treadmill between 2 and 2.5 MPH while I am working at my standing desk. I have a keyboard that is made of metal (not the keys themselves, but the rest of it) and has RGB lights underneath all the keys. When I walk on the treadmill without the strap, I would often get shocked and the keyboard lights would flicker as the static electricity transferred to the keyboard. Now, I don't get shocked, however, I still see the lights under the keys flicker in response to receiving the static discharge -- basically, this thing doesn't seem to work that well. I need to find a better solution. I may return this and try something else. UPDATE 8-7-2020: It broke again in the exact same method as mentioned above. This thing is total junk and now I cannot return it.

Great product for the price. Highly recommend for the average user. If you deal with electronics on a daily basis or just casually, this is the grounding cable for you. I always believe in the saying "Better safe than sorry" so I bought this and I am very satisfied.

I just wish they hadn't made the plug all-metal bc it's kinda scary putting it in the wall but you can trust it's not actually hooked up to anything. If only from my word. I like the snap bc I can attach this to a desk pad and alligator clip my wrist strap to the pad. Just built my new computer with it and sure enough everything worked after installation. I'm not saying it made everything work, just, nothing got broken bc I DIDN'T use it.

I've purchased a couple of ESD mats and straps in the past but none of them were as good as this. Well made, quality piece of equipment. It is very affordable for this kind of equipment. Well made and should last. The cords are usually not long enough to reach an outlet without pulling the ground plug into a surge protector or extension cord, Nasafes grounding cord looks long enough. The extra straps are nice for plugging in ESD mats in addition to the wrist strap.

I have yet to find a product exactly like this other than this one on Amazon, so I really wish it wouldve worked out for me because I would love a product just like this! But it broke twice in the same spot, the second time around after a return (I was given a replacement free of charge which was appreciated) I was very careful not to break it this time but it still broke with very little use. Manufacturer, please fix this product and get back to me so I can buy a more quality version on this lol! Thank you

The two prongs are dummy (i wish they were plastic). The bottom plug is ground obviously. You get secure ground. Comes with banana clip or alligator clip. mini telephone spiral chord stretchy cable. The biggest issue for me is -- price tag. I had to bite the bullet and just buy it because i'm just too lazy to make my own. I guess that is the price to pay for my laziness.

Owned this product for less than a week. Light use broke it easily

Best device for minimal space.. best price too

Worth every penny!
