RegattaMens Samarid II Low Walking Shoes

I have found these walking shoes. to be true to size.They are well made, and sturdy. They fill comfortable. I have done a few walks on tarmac and concert with them, whilst said surfaces were both dry and wet, the shoes handle both conditions well, no slipping from the shoes, in the wet. Also done some walks in grass after rain and frost, again found the shoes gripped well, and my feet were dry. Cannot say how waterproof these shoes will be rain, as have not been out in the rain, whilst wearing them. Only slight niggle I have is the laces,well what they are made of. I found that I had to double bow them, to stop them coming undone whilst walk. As i said just a slight niggle with a good pair of shoes, that are very good value for the money.

I bought these with some trepidation as I wanted a sturdy pair of waterproof shoes to walk my dog across the dirt track country lanes, and even though they are Regatta I thought they were a bit too cheap to be true. I am pleased to say these have far exceeded my expectations.They were tight at first, but not uncomfortably so, and quickly bedded in, on the first walk. They have provided excellent grip in the muddy conditions, are lightweight, and waterproof. They also let my feet breathe, all in all very good pair of shoes.I have done over 40 miles in them now, various conditions, and they are still as robust as when I got them, so fingers crossed they stay that way. I will say the left heel has developed a very faint squeak when walking, but I am hoping that disappears.The only down side that I have seen (and it is trifling) is that due to the laces being thick and sturdy, they have a tendency to come undone unless I really force the knot tight.

This is my third pair of these. I don't use them for walking/hiking, just general wear. I wear hiking boots for taking the dogs, etc. These shoes are waterproof, comfortable and long lasting. My first pair lasted over 3 years, so for £45, excellent value.

The item is good, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable.

These are the first shoes I've bought for ages that feel this comfy for walking in.The finish is really good although I have yet to try them in the rain.

Thes light weight walking shoes appear to be well put together and are true to UK sizeing. The sole is quite stiff hopefully gives with use. The big down side is there slippery on pavements near trees. Not expect from footwear of this type. But good value for money.

Likes:Well priced, comfortable, firm fit, warm, good non-slip soles, and nice classic trainer appearance.Dislikes:The laces are a few centimetres short: 3 cm should be added to each lace. A bit on the warm side in warmer weather.Warning:I normally take size 10, but this shoe is a size 11 fit and it was very comfortable. The size 10 was too narrow and too short in length.Overall - a good pair of hiking trainers.

I was quite impressed to start with, comfortable from day one and moderately light but after 3 months they leak like a sieve and I only walk about 400 yards on wet grass when walking the dogs once per day. So the good impression has worn off. I wouldn’t buy them again.Further to my earlier review above the shoes started to fall to pieces at approx. 6 months old. I walk the dogs about a mile per day in these so they have not had excessive wear, Save your money and buy from a reputable manufacturer, which BTW I thought Regatta was, it would appear not, these shoes are just junk.

Ottime scarpe per il trekking. Usate questa estate in montagna, buona protezione del piedi,molto leggere e confortevoli. Considerate che la vestibilità è circa mezzo numero inferiore rispetto al vostro numero abituale. Ottima impermeabilità durante la pioggia.

Como siempre muy contento con esta marca, talla perfecto, cómodas y de calidad.Tengo unas de un modelo parecido con ya bastante tiempo y uso, durareras tienen muchísimo uso.

Connaissant Regatta pour leur veste il y a 10 ans, c'est suite à une recherche pour les vestes que j'ai découvert les chaussures. (pour les vestes "spécifiques" Regatta semble avoir abandonné ce secteur et fait plus dans les vestes de "mode" tout public.Je les ai depuis plusieurs mois et j'en suis content.- Elle sont confortables.- Respirantes- Tout usage pour la part (soit pour les marches de petits kilométrage mais surtout me servent en voyage moto comme chaussure "passe partout" et pas encombrante).- J'ai pu testé l'étanchéité il y a peu sous une pluie d'orage (grêle et j'en passe), verdict: très mouillée dehors et pas dedans. Content donc.- Un prix raisonnable pour un bon confort et un choix de coloris.Nous avons très récemment acheté le même modèle pour la femme et moi en taille haute pour la marche plus appuyée. J'y reviendrais après quelques mois d'utilisation.Pour ce modèle taille basse, prendre votre taille normale (homme).

J'utilise ses chaussures, tous les matins en parcourant 10 kms. Elles sont confortables, elles possèdent un bon maintien. L'usage est aisé sur routes et chemins. Sur sol humide, elles accrochent bien. Manque un peu d'amorti mais, cela peut-être amélioré en ajoutant des semelles avec du gel.Le prix est abordable, vu la qualité de ces chaussures.Je les recommande.
