Strong but mellow
Oolong is an uncomplicated tea. You know you're signing up for strong flavour, but it's not here to impress you with fruity notes. This is a nice, simple tea to start or end your day. I like the tin it comes in, easy to open and close. Would buy again.

Excellent Value
This is a green-leaning oolong, sweet and fruity. If you like Ti Kwan Yin, you'll like this, too. The flavors are similar, but the fruitiness in the Wu Yi is not peachy. To me, it has rather a berry sweetness; that is, fruity, but not peach, citrus, or melon. It has a slight floral quality as well, but not as much as Ti Kwan Yin.This is packaged in a good tin. It is not double-sealed, but this is not as much an issue with oolong as it is with green. The product description says it makes 48 servings. That must be a mistake. One needs only a half teaspoon of leaves, which expand tremendously. Also, at least two steepings are possible. Far more than 48 servings are possible. There is some dust in the tin, but it is entirely excusable at this price. I am glad I tried this tea. I enjoy it very much, as will most green lovers, and some black lovers.

Old Batch? Lacks any meaningful flavor.
This tea steeps an amber liquor, with a roasty/nutty aroma, but the flavor is bland with none of the complexity I'm used to. Increasing the amount of tea steeped beyond the recommended 1.5 tsp doesn't help the weak flavor. More twigs present that in other Wuyi oolongs I've enjoyed. Seems like old stock, either from this vendor or their supplier. Wouldn't buy this again.

This is a very nice, mellow tea. I try to get to the water just before it boils and I steep it 3 minutes and it comes out mellow and rich and not at all grassy. It is far from a green tea. It's nothing like I Iron Goddess say for instance but rather much more oxidized. A perfectly good oolong in my opinion. But it is not quite a black tea either. It doesn't leave much in the way of any small debris at the bottom of your cup. The leaves are whole and rolled tightly. I would not say it's outstanding but it is pleasurable and I drink it often.

really good stuff
This is one terrific tea. I;ve tried a few other WuYi brands and this one has the best flavour (to me). It also withstands the most brewings and the leaves expand far more than any of the others (no idea what that means). It's also a good value because you need less tea to brew,
