However, it's not the type of planner for putting every detail task or time table on it. Q: Does the planner have blank pages, too, so I can create lists and write book notes?

Yes, the planner has lined and blank pages at the back. There are approximately 10 lined (on the left) and 9 blank pages in my planner (Alchemist).

Q: I’m just curious why it’s only a 90 day planner?

The format is such that a full two page spread is dedicated to each day's worth of planning, prioritizing, and reflection, and similarly there are 2 pages for planning and evaluating each week. That is a highly effective planning format but it also makes for a fairly stout little book, even to cover 90 days. For it to cover a year in the same format, it would take on the thickness of a small Bible; it would be a lot of bulk and weight to carry, and probably much more difficult to bind securely enough for daily use, to say nothing of the production cost which would make the product itself pretty hard to afford for many of us. I can get four months out of a planner instead of three, by the way - I just have to either not use all the daily planning pages (easy to do if I go on a little vacation, take some days off being "productive," etc.), use some of the note-taking pages at the back for additional planner pages, or use the included planner cards which are in approximately the same format but sized to be folded up and put in your pocket if you're not carrying your book all day.
