Rehab Deluxe

If you're new to Lecrae, this is a GREAT bargain.If you're a long-time 'Crae fan, this is a decent purchase (since you probably already have the two albums). I already had Rehab, but I didn't have The Overdose, so I bought this primarily for The Overdose, along with the DVD and 3 bonus tracks (which are REALLY great). The DVD is basically their YouTube vids with one or two extra behind-the-scenes videos. If you already have Rehab and Rehab: The Overdose, it's up to you whether or not you want the bonus tracks and DVD. Overall, I'd say this is a solid purchase.

Two good songs skips

Lecrae might sound like secular hip hop if you just listen to the pulse pounding beats but if you listen to the lyrics it breaks the gospel of the Bible come alive in modern translation. He tackles tough subjects like addiction, sex, crime, forgiveness, tolerance, service, advocacy, evangelism, parenting and much more. It wets an appitite for God, makes you think deeper and get energized. At least that's how it affects me.

Coming from a white southern gals perspective, I never would have thought that hip hop gospel rap could well up so much emotion in my spirit. But, there were many times I found myself crying at how powerful the words on this cd were. It is obvious, Lecrae was born for this very purpose and I pray God blesses him with many more anointed cds.

This album was okay, not to bad at all. I'll give it a 4 star but just can't rate it like that.

While I don't love every song and the topics are intense, my teens and I love this set. Well, I really only love Rehab and it's by far my favorite Lecrae disc. My kids like the other disc also. It's so great to constantly put good music in your head! Nice work, Lecrae.

Simply listen to the lyrics and you will see this man wants to change the world, for God's glory, and he represents JC in everything he does. Thanks Lecrae... may you continue to play the "background".

An album that had music you would want to listen too, great messages given, amazing beats and guest artists, a Lecrae album for the ages!
