Apple iMac (27-inch, 8GB, 1TB Storage) Silver (Renewed)

The first one I ordered came busted in the top corner. The box was not labelled as fragile or anything. just a regular cardboard box taped up. I sent it back and was refunded. My husband ordered another one for me (from this same company) and it came in the same kind of box but it was just fine! The only problem I had was it came in German language and it took me FOREVER to get it changed to English. I am using it now to write this review and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

UPDATE: Changed rating from 5 star to a one star rating because the internal speakers are not working and I just found out about it. Tried everything from online forums and even contacted Apple support. Returning as this is a defective piece. Came packaged in the original Apple box. Carefully packed. Looks brand new! Has 32 GB RAM and was easy to upgrade to the Big Sur operating system! Serves all my needs and then some! Absolutely hands down the best money I spent on a solid computer in a long while! Highly highly recommend this!!!

I was honestly nervous at first, because another shopper had a bad experience, but it not only showed up well packed and in perfect condition, it had more under the hood. The description says 1TB hard drive and 8 or so GB memory. Mine came with 3TB hard drive PLUS a 121gb SATA, then 16GB for the memory. Best Buy I’ve ever made here hands down. If you’re looking for an entry level or cheap max this is it. But be warned! If you update it to Big Sur you CANNOT run 32 bit apps. And unless you have GarageBand somehow on a thumb drive I can’t seem to get it on here anyway at all, but those are the personal cons. Buy one!!

I sent it back because it didn’t the standard keyboard and mouse it comes with, they have a very cheap copies of them.

Shipped fast Packing overkill but good Worked perfect Keyboard mouse saved as spare. Purchased magic keyboard mouse Six months zero problems Running Big Sur update; now running 64g ram 4T Fusion Drive. Wicked fast for 2025.

I purchased this used iMac on the reputation of Amazon. Since it was an Amazon "renewed" product, I trusted them. This is the worst decision I have made. The computer has not worked correctly from the very beginning. The memory gives a fault when you start the computer and the hard drive will not mount. I purchased the warranty but this. computer is too big for me to safely box it myself and carry it to get shipped. Never, ever, buy used "renewed" computers from Amazon.

Nice workstation, everything works, easy setup. Problem is that it was advertised as coming with a 1TB storage drive. It came with 160 GB SSD. Seller offered return, but who wants to return after unboxing, setting up accounts, updating OS, getting logged in, etc. I will buy an external drive for storage.
