I absolutely love these lighted curettes and will not be without them in my pediatric office! I like the 3mm versaloop in particular because it is slightly smaller than the 4mm curettes and works well even for infants! The flexible loop without a point is also gentler and less likely to scratch the ear canal. Especially good for soft wax. It does not penetrate hard wax, but I have good luck getting beside hard balls of wax and rolling them out. The light is a true game changer- it makes visualizing the canal and wax so much easier, so I can precisely scoop out the wax with ease- which is both a time saver and more comfortable for the child! I do recommend leaving tools such as these and other curettes that go into the ear canal to health professionals- use by untrained individuals may lead to injury.

So much better than trying to hold the ear, the currette, and a light! Come on, I only have 2 hands! This works Perfectly! So bright! Only complaint is the price.

I got a box of these for my son who has Down syndrome and lives in another state. He wears hearing aids and has a lot of trouble with wax buildup in his ears. I sent these to the caregivers and they have started using them. The light is very bright, and lets you see quite clearly into the ear canal. It's too soon to say how they will hold up, but so far my son is satisfied and the caregivers are using them.

Mein jüngster ist hörgeräteträger, so dass der ohrenschmalz nicht auf natürliche Weise aus den Ohren fließen kann. Mit diesem Tool können mein Mann und ich ergänzen zu den regelmäßigen Vorstellungen beim HNO-Arzt vorsichtig die vorderen Teile des gehörganges reinigen. Braucht ein bisschen Übung, bis das Handling passt.
