Raptor Anti-Corrosive Epoxy Primer 2K Aerosol, Automotive Spray-On Primer, Protects Against Rust & Corrosion, Beige, 14.1 OZ

Great sprayer tip. Got a lot of coverage out of it. Somewhat self leveling.

I bought three of these cans to epoxy prime a panel before shooting it with Raptor Liner.I spent days grinding, sanding, cleaning, etc. The cans call for a two minute shake time, activate hardener at the bottom, and then an additional two minutes of shaking to fully mix the two parts. I did about five minutes each time instead of two. I let the cans sit out in the open to reach ambient temperature (75F).As soon as I started spraying the can it was fine. The can stopped spraying at the very second I stopped spraying so that I could do another pass. Panic ensued as I tried to get the can to spray again. This same problem happened with all three cans. Starting off with the can upside down to expel anything in the dip tube does nothing. You have to hold the nozzle open the entire time and give yourself carpal tunnel, only to have the can stop spraying material and only propellant. Then you get spatters. I had to unclog the dip tube countless times with a small screwdriver (do NOT do this). I had to use nozzles from different paint cans just to get through it.. anytime I stopped spraying I had to stop and soak all of the nozzles in acetone. Sometimes this would get it to spray again, sometimes it wouldn't.I did research on this can design and there are tons of complaints of what I experienced. One manufacturer makes these cans for all of the 2K epoxy primer aerosol products. I cannot believe this can is still being sold to the public with as much negativity it has around it. This can design must not be able to handle such a dense material like epoxy.Please buy a real paint can of epoxy primer/hardener and either roll it on or use a proper paint gun. Do not go through all of the prep work and ruin it with using these pieces of garbage.

Just like all the other reviews the can just stops working. Was only able to use half the can. The nozzle wasent clogged it has something to do with the propellant. Waste of $30

Loved the product, just took an extra 2 cans. Project was coating a set of 4 truck wheels(18") will use again, but in spray gun form. Could have done a lot more for the same price.

I've used lots of rattle cans in my 71 years so take it for what it's worth. I believe I know how to use a rattle can to get good results. This is the second can I've purchased to do spot priming and both times I had problems getting the primer to spray. The spray nozzle on both cans was really loose and wobbly. It sprays an uneven wavy pattern, then it begins to splatter, then just quits long before used up. Doesn't seem to be a clog problem at my end but??? Very bad performance for the big bucks Upol charges.All that said, the 2K primer itself is beautiful stuff if you can get it to work, save the heartache and use a spray gun, besides it comes in gray in cans.

Product worked excellent for about 12 seconds... then the nozzle and the internal valve became disconnected.. product essentially became worthless after this. Spraying primer everywhere, overflowing from the can, not spraying through the nozzle.In total I got about 1/10 of a cans use out of this.But what I did get out of it worked as advertised hence 2 stars instead of 1.

Nozzle clogs up easily, once it does your out of luck… product in the van is awesome, delivery system stinks

Like on other reviews, don’t waste your money with this, I spent two whole days sanding to prep for this and the crappy tips clogged within seconds, fiddled with tips to continue paint but ultimately wasn’t able to finish so now feel like it was a complete waste of money since I’ll now be going to the store to buy something els to re coat entire thing again
