Dr Delight Tinted Lip Balm - Set of Three

I was devistated when I found that Dr. Pepper lip smackers had gone out of production. This Smells, Tastes and Feels so much like the original, perhaps a little more sheer but that just means an extra swipe. Thank you Delight Naturals, for bringing this classic back into my pocket, my purse and my life.

I absolutely love this item! It's amazing and a perfect dupe for a long lost favorite lip balm of a similar scent, but this is even better! It has a great consistency , very light tint, smells and tastes amazing, it arrived quickly and packaged nicely. I can't say enough good things about this product 💖

I don't enjoy wearing lipstick, since it's so drying and leaves color on cups, teeth, clothes, etc. I've loved Lip Smackers' Dr. Pepper lip gloss for decades--I don't drink Dr. Pepper, but that little tint of color in the gloss was great. Unfortunately, Lip Smackers no longer offers that flavor, and none of their other glosses leave a tint on your lips.That began my quest for a replacement. I found 3 options on Amazon: Dr. Delight by Delight Naturals, Hurraw's Black Cherry tinted lip gloss, and Clinique's Black Honey Almost Lipstick.The photo is a comparison (gloss on a clear piece of acetate)--I actually still have 2 Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers glosses, so I was able to use it as a "control".Dr. Delight was brown and not very tinted. I also didn't like the flavor (however, I'm not a Dr. Pepper fan--so people who do like that flavor may really love this one).The Hurraw gloss left a nice tint, and was a pleasing flavor. To me, it's the most like the tint from the Dr. Pepper Lip Smackers.The Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick is expensive and comes in a lovely silver tube. I've learned that I have to retract the gloss completely back into the case--I didn't do that the first time, and left a blob inside the lid. The color is very dark by comparison, but looks natural and pleasant. It's not as creamy-feeling (gloss-like) as the others, but it isn't drying. I think it emphasizes my thinning lips, though (old age strikes again)--unlike the others.The more I've used the Dr. Delight, the less I like the taste. I am going to throw out my tube of it. That said, if you like little to no color, AND you like the taste of Dr. Pepper, you may really like this. It's definitely creamy and feels good on the lips!

This is a nice chapstick that smells delicious. I was hoping for more of a tint (like another fav chapstick that for some horrible reason got discontinued), and didn't really notice much at all. However, it does smell great!

My granddaughter loves Dr.P, and I told her about a lip balm that I remember, that had the taste scent of that. Sadly they no longer make it, but I found this and was very happy with it, as was my granddaughter. I kept one and gifted her two.

It smells just like Dr Pepper! But even better is how it treats my lips. It really pampers them.
