Says it’s made of plastic but actually the frame is steel like a real bike! It’s extremely well made, looks great and functions precisely as expected — a leg propelled bike for the youngest riders 12-24 months. This is the target audience. The saddle is the ideal height for them, low enough (quite low indeed) as to allow their knees to come pretty close to a 90 degree angle. For those saying it’s too small, I’m guessing you have little experience with bike riding… Of course it’s small! I am also guessing people with this complaint were just wishfully thinking they could stretch their dollar and have this be their 2-4 year old toddler’s balance bike. Thankfully it isn’t bigger because it wouldn’t work for the intended audience. My one year old (today!) daughter is so cute on it and loving it so far. So pleased with this sweet little bike and excited to see her enjoy it more. It’s also a joy to see so many color choices and such adorable retro design and care put into making it look nice. The saddle brown seat is a darling touch. Finally, it’s soooo nice to buy on Amazon from a legitimate company. Choose this over all the cheap knockoffs and replicas on Amazon. Thank you, Retrospec! P.S. I also purchased through Amazon Warehouse an item described as “used - like new” and it was 100% brand new in plastic in original box and all. Highly recommend using this feature when available.

I didn’t know what to expect. The box was medium size & super light. I opened it & everything was put together so I didn’t have to assemble anything! I bought the light blue one & my son fell in love at first sight, no joke! He was so excited & hopped on & took it for a spin. My son has had it for a little while now & I’ve seen a big change in him! He got a lot faster on the bike & he rides it inside & outside the house. We taught him the word bike so now when we go outside or inside we ask : “where’s your bike?” Then he goes & gets it. Like I said it’s super lightweight so my 1.5 year can easily lift it up. NOTE : There are no pedals & your kid will have to use their feet like the cartoon, the flintstones. No biggie but definitely something you should know!

Bought this as a first birthday gift for a little one. Although it sadly couldn’t be gift wrapped, the quality of the box is really nice. The bike itself is the perfect size for a little mover. The color variety really makes this bike special and modern. At first the child may need a lot of support and supervision but later as their gross motor skills develop, little ones can explore movement on the bike a little more independently. Appropriate gift even if little one isn’t walking yet but can at least pull to stand and had started cruising. This will be my go to gift for 1 year old parties.

Our toddler (2) loves this bike — we wanted something that she can cruise around indoors with, and the wheels on this bike are perfect for not messing with our wood floors. Also lightweight enough for her to carry around if she wants to, and the narrower seat (compared to a Little Tikes one we have for outdoors) makes it easier for her to get on/off this bike — while I think improving her balance as well. In terms of age appropriateness, we bought when she was ~15m and she didn’t really use it until about ~18m (though she was a very late walker, so other kids who walk before 18m might use the bike sooner!) Now is 2 and uses it daily!

Perfect gift for my god daughter's first birthday. She loves this thing so much. Sturdy enough to go on grass, small enough to be used inside. Helping her gain confidence to walk on her own.
