What a terrific laptop stand, costly but worth every penny for this quality & function
I was somewhat intrigued by the NULAXY laptop stand. It's priced at the very top end of laptop stands but now I have used it and tested it I can see what a stunning product it is.The stand arrives in a double cardboard-skin packaging and it's very well protected for transportation. The stand is a bit of a monster, in a nice way. It's rather hefty but that's because it's so well put together and premium materials are used throughout.I had noticed the words "rotating base" in the product description but hadn't anticipated how well this feature has been implemented. There's a slight clicking noise as the top part of the stand smoothly rotates a full 360°. I think that the clicking noise is a very fine rachet system in the bearings mechanism. Whatever it is it's a joy to see how easy the stand rotates and it far exceeded my expectations. The other surprise is the extending platform. There's a button in the centre of the support arm that, when pressed in allows you to slide the laptop forwards several inches. Again this feature has been built-in to a very high standard, and you can let the button go at any point and the support arm locks into that position.I have a rather heavy Lenovo 15.6" laptop that is slim but weighty and also it was an expensive computer. I am very careful with the laptop but feel totally happy when it's sat on the NULAXY stand, so confident am I that the stand will not fail. That's a big plus point. The finish and use of silicone 'grippy' bits is all as perfect as it could be and, yes this stand is pricey at over £60 but when one realises what has gone into it and how supremely well it works then actually the price becomes rather reasonable. Normally with a high-priced item like this when all it's doing is providing a stand for your laptop I might knock a star off the rating. However I simply cannot fault the NULAXY and one might argue that it's the "RR" (high spec motor car) of the laptop stand world and so gets 5 very highly polished 5 Stars. Simply awesome.

Really solid & works well with a 17" laptop.
This arrives in a very nice quality handled box measuring approx 30cm x just over 28cm x 8cm.It would be easy to wrap if planning to give it as a gift & it looks like it will be a quality gift before you even open the box.Inside, the stand is fully assembled with layers of foam sheet inserted between the pieces so they all arrive in perfect condition. This has some weight to it & it's stiff to move (so I needed 2 hands to adjust it at first), but it does mean that once you have positioned it how you want it, it will stay. The base has an approx diameter of approx 26cm with a discreet, low profile turntable part in the centre that has a diameter of approx 9.5cm.The turntable makes quiet clicks as you turn it, which can be done with one hand but takes a little intention behind your push so it won't just swing round if you bumped against it.There is a nice push button to adjust the height of the central piece which can be used with one hand once you get used to it.This is a joy to use & every part of it feels well made from decent materials. The top part which you sit your laptop on is 27.5cm x 24cm, with 2 small upstands at the edge facing you to stop your laptop slipping when it's at an angle. There is a large cutout in the top part to assist with cooling, but the aluminum seems to draw heat from my laptop & keeps it running cooler than it did anyway.I have a few 17" laptops & some are fairly hefty. All were comfortable to use on this stand, even when swinging it round (which is a really handy feature if you e.g. need to show something to clients sat the other side of a desk as it can rotate 360 degrees).I did find I could feel a little 'bounce' in the stand if I typed on the laptop keyboard, but not enough to be an issue.I had my doubts before I got this about the price, but having used it I do think it is worth the money. It's so well built it will probably outlast the laptop it will be used for.Used on a desktop, it can be raised enough to stand (although I'm fairly short so that may not be the case for those who are taller) so I can work standing. If you use a coffee table, or take a laptop out to clients houses where you may have a varying height of surface to use your laptop on, this can be used to bring your screen up to a comfortable height. That swivel feature is my favourite. It is not all that lightweight though, so only good for travelling where you bring your stuff in a car.I have instantly retired my previous stand for this one which is simply superb.I am very pleased with this.Looks & feels classy in an understated, expensive way.Does it's job perfectly, leaving you to concentrate on your work instead of worrying your laptop will fall off the stand.

Looks to be a pretty cool, fun, and fantastic looking Laptop 💻 Stand. But...
🔝 : Top Tip : The stand has some integrated silicone rubber feet, and pads, to protect your laptop from the harsh aluminium body of the stand. It will not scratch your precious laptop.💰 : At £69.99, at the time of writing,This :👉 : Nulaxy Laptop Stand for Desk, Adjustable Height up to 21", Ergonomic Laptop Riser Holder with 360 Rotating Base, Swivel Computer Stand Compatible with MacBook All Laptops Computer 10-17", GreyLooks to be a pretty cool, fun, and fantastic looking Laptop 💻 Stand.But...Is it any good?Is it good value? Will I get a lovely cup of tea, at some point during the review 🍵?Are there many more of these annoying questions, still to come?Well... the answers to these, plus perhaps one or two other, randomly encountered questions, we might just bump into, during the course of my meandering, and increasingly erratic, review, we should hold hands, and take a leap of faith, straight forwards, as we take a closer look... 👀 ...Can we stop holding hands now, please? It's getting weird...📦 Packaging :It arrives in a large, shiny and professional looking, cardboard box, with photos, graphics, and text, printed onto it.It makes a brilliant first impression.♻️ Recycling :Most of the packaging can be recycled.📋 Contents :Out of the box, and the contents are easy to see:▪️ 1 x Laptop StandNice and simple.Just like me.Umm...🛠️ Build Quality :The build quality of the stand is immediately apparent. It's easy to assemble. It's very well put together, even allowing for my usually erratic DIY skills. It's mainly made from a lightweight aluminium alloy, that is light, strong, and very durable. It's chunky, and very sturdy. It has silicone pads on the base, to protect your desktop, and it has rubber pads on the stand, where you rest the laptop, to protect your laptop from scratches, and scuffs. It has two large lips on the front of the stand, to stop your laptop from sliding off the front of the stand. The rubber is tightly glued in place, and will not move, or peel away, easily. There are no visible ragged edges, or manufacturing marks. There are no visible flaws. There are no telltale squeaks, or rattles. It's all very accomplished, and professional looking.🗃️ Features :The height of the stand can be adjusted up to 21 inches, by simply turning the adjuster on the pole. You can adjust the angle from 0° to 120°as needed for optimal viewing. The design of the stand allows excellent airflow underneath your laptop, allowing it to remain cool, even on the stand.💲 Value :At just under seventy pounds, this is not a cheap laptop stand.Far from it.But...It is worth every penny.🛒 Summary :It's excellent, in every department. It's very well-designed, with some nice design touches. It's well put together, with easy assembly, and sturdy components. It is easy to use, and performs very well.I do not (currently) have a top 5 for laptop stands.I don't even have a top 3.If i did though, and were to have a good think about it, this laptop stand would be near the top of the top 5, or even the top 3.However, you can be safe from having to rely on a guy who has a top 3 of, all time favourite, laptop stands. expensive, but worth it
I was quite taken aback when I checked the price of this after trying it out (vine review) - and I think honestly, I wouldnt pay it if I was perusing for a stand myself - however - I was in need of a new one to replace a wobbly cheaper one, and after testing this I'm very much in that "ahhh, I get it now" mindset. Yes £60odd is a lot for what it is, but it genuinely is worth it if youre a heavy user.I use my work laptop on a stand every mon-fri, and occasionally my leisure one, so mine get a good hammering in terms of lifting the laptop on and off (I hybrid work so it rarely stays mounted a full day) - and Im constantly adjusting it - either for standing vs sitting working, or for the two laptops I use.First - the mount is secure and stable, and once in position doesnt shift a mm unless you make it. I had one previously that you had to ratchet lock in place with an allen key - which sure, was secure, but a pain to readjust - this one moves and adjusts fluidly with tiny movements possible, and then stays there. It adjusts in just about every direction except tilting left/right on a Z axis, and the range of movement is pretty impressive while still staying balanced and stable. The whole build in fact is very robust and heavy-weight - and it IS quite heavy too - not ideal if youre lugging it around, admittedly; but perfect for stability if youre leaving it in place most of the time. All in all, great base for both large (17inch) and small (14 inch) laptops, fantastic adjustability but also easily manipulated into position (no locks, but it doesnt need them), and very robust and stable. 10/10 - and yes, expensive, but worth every penny

Heavy-duty laptop stand.
These types of laptop stand are extremely useful. I have three of them on my desk, one is for my laptop, one for an audio amplifier and one for a desk lamp. This stand is the largest of the three I have and the only one with a rotating base. It extends higher than the others - up to 21 inches and is more solidly built. It will take up to a 17 inch laptop and support up to 22 pounds (10 kilograms). A cutout in the stand allows for free flow of air to the underside of the laptop to aid cooling. This particular stand cannot be considered a travel stand, it's too big and heavy for that and there are lighter, more compact models available for that purpose. This stand should be considered as a permeant fixture which will free up space on your desk top and enable you to use your laptop more ergonomically. The stand rotates with little clicks in either direction. The height is easily adjusted by pressing a release button and lifting or lowering the support. Tilting the stand takes a little effort as the hinges are stiff but once set at the required angle it does not move, an alen key is provided should the hinges ever need tightening. At the time of writing this review there is a difference in price between the black and silver versions with the black one coming in at £44.99 if you use a £15 voucher which is also available at the time of writing. At £44.99 I have no hesitation in recommending this stand, at the full price of £62.99 you may want to consider if you need a stand this sturdy or if a cheaper stand would suffice.
