I have a 150 mercury 4 stroke and I put a whole bottle every time I put fuel in it never had a problem

Q: Do you disconnect the gas line and run the gas out of the motor beforr storing the boat

No I did not but I fish in the winter months

about 1oz per 5 gallons of fuel. If you add a little more it can’t hurt.

Q: If you already have a small amount of StaBil in the tank will it be detrimental to use the Merc stabilizer?

I would wait until you added more gas to the tank. And from someone who is 72 years old with 60 years of boating experience and I would stick with the same brand of stabilizer.
