Krylon K01323000 Gallery Series Artist and Clear Coatings Aerosol, 11-Ounce, Satin Finish

As a beginner artist I recently tried the Krylon Fixative Spray, and I must say, it does an excellent job at setting and protecting artwork. The finishing is smooth and gives a professional touch without altering the original colors. It dries quickly and holds well, making it a reliable choice for artists.However, the smell is quite strong, so I’d recommend using it in a well-ventilated area. The manufacturer has provided clear usage instructions,be sure to follow them for the best results. Overall, a great fixative with a strong finish, just be mindful of the scent!

This spray is so nice to use. It sprays and dries evenly. It covers very well and has a very nice finish that is not too shiny.It sprays well and I have never had any issues with clogging at the nozzle. I have ordered this multiple times for a wide range of projects.

I love this stuff for pen, pencil and charcoal artwork. It does have a smell to be aware of but it works great.

This is your old fashioned, brain-killing, high-VOC fixatif. Don't use it indoors in a living area, even with ventilation. In the past couple of decades, spray paints have really cut down on the VOC (volatile organic compounds) content, but this stuff apparently missed the boat. The smell lingers for hours, which I suppose depends on temperature and humidity.Regardless of the smell, it works very well to protect delicate drawings from smudging. A light coat is enough. A light coat doesn't distort or change the texture of the papers I'm using. Medium-weight sketch paper wrinkles a bit, but smooths out again when it dries. Bristol and mixed-media paper don't distort at all. I think it's difficult to erase through if you need to rework. It's possible, but not without distressing the paper a bit.Like just about every kind of spray paint, this is easiest to apply with finesse if you use one of the handles that are sold for these cans.Only time will tell if it truly does help to prevent UV yellowing and oxidation. I haven't been using it long enough, and besides, here in the coastal PNW the UV index doesn't get above -1 for more than four months a year.I'll buy it again, at least until I find a less stinky alternative.

This clear glaze made by Krylon works great. My only complaint is that it has a really strong smell so you definitely make sure you spray it outside other than that it dries crystal clear and it seals my epoxy resin projects great.

Worked perfectly for my ceramics. It arrived quickly and was easy to use to get a nice clear glaze. I would buy again if I need.

Not much to say. Does it's job. Easy to use.
