Bottom Line: Not as good as Gold in my opinion, but a great value for the price if you like English breakfast teas or medium-full body teas. This can easily become a daily tea for anyone's morning. Tastes earthy, full and savory, brews strong and dark, wonderful pick-me-up.I have a problem, I've been drinking Yorkshire teas for almost 10 years now and I can't stop. I started on Lipton and Twinings and now I find myself stuck here.The price per bag for this tends to sit around Lipton's price and below Twinings. With that in mind, I'd go for this one every time, Lipton tends to be land and not even have a distinct aroma, while Yorkshire has been a staple in my breakfasts for nearly a decade now. For a few cents more per bag I'd probably go back to Yorkshire Gold again, but for now I don't have any qualms about getting through the rest of this box. Gold tends to have a few flavor undertones or me that almost become floral and can be complemented well with very minimal amounts of honey [or scotch], this blend is a bit more basic but will pair easily with any additions while still standing on its own.

I had been wanting an inexpensive bagged to make a quick cup in the mornings and afternoons, nothing fancy but most everything was lackluster and disappointing. Came across Yorkshire Gold by recommendation and the moment you brew it, you can tell even for a dust and fannings bagged option this is on another level. It steeps into a beautiful, dark, coppery color and has a rich, malty aroma that generic tea bags just don't have. The flavor is exactly what I was looking for: robust, full-bodied, and incredibly smooth, with absolutely no bitterness or astringency, even if you let it steep for a little too long. It's the perfect tea to stand up to a splash of milk, which brings out its rich character even more. This has become an integral part of my morning routine and one I've been using for years and years now. If you want a truly satisfying, no-nonsense cup of black tea, this is the one.

I am a Yorkshireman living in the United States, so of course I am going to give this product a five-star review!! This tea tastes like a proper cup of tea should taste. The flavor is robust, and my morning starts with a cuppa. The teabags have never split or leaked, and every teabag delivers the perfect cup of tea. The price is outstanding in terms of value for money, you will not be disappointed when you try Yorkshire Tea, there is nothing better.

Delicious slightly malty, slightly honeyed blend of teas for a good morning (and afternoon...) cup. I buy a lot of tea and hunt down small suppliers and unique loose teas. My favorite tea is Golden Yunnan. Assam works well but is a little harsher for me. This is great quality for a bagged tea blend and a great everyday, portable workhorse from a reliable and well-known tea company. It's definitely a more nuanced cup and less harsh than the red box (for that one, I need milk). This size is a great value for the nice quality of the tea blend. As much as I would love to drink loose leaf golden monkey Yunnan daily, my budget disagrees.

Wow, once I had this tea there was no turning back to the less expensive options at the grocery store. Nice and strong, full of flavor and not bitter. Costs more but it’s worth it if you’re a tea drinker.

BEST ENGLISH STRONG YET TASTEFUL TEA.

Oh no! This tea guzzler ran out of tea on a busy week and couldn't get to the store - so tacked on this item to an order of misc. stuff for next-day delivery - tea deprivation averted. Since my local store's biggest box of this brand is 40-count, it didn't register in my head that the 160-count box in my amazon order would be a heck of a lot more. I had only noted the better savings per teabag on the delivery order compared to the same brand at the store. Imagine my surprise to discover the restaurant-sized box of teabags that arrived at my door - a happy surprise, I decided, since I go through a lot of tea. While Yorkshire Gold is considered the premium-quality, smoother-tasting tea, I ordered the Yorkshire Red, which I prefer for its sharp, robust taste that holds up well to added half & half (don't tell my doctor). So now... on a bitter cold, winter morning, I'm content to jump-start my day indoors with a hot cuppa Yorkshire Red as I write this review - ahhh!

I bought this to make quality ice tea, but went ahead and tried a teabag as a hot tea. It is really good, strong & flavorful. It was very fresh and I'm also thinking some of my other tea is getting stale. But this Yorkshire red will make great ice tea this summer and I'll use it for hot tea also.Be sure and buy the 80, 160 or 240 sizes that seem more like the original UK sizing. There is a box of 100 that is probably more designed to sell in the US (lists ounces in addition to grams). 80 bags of the good stuff weights 250 gms. 100 bags of the US stuff only weighs 220 grams, and may not hold the same quality tea in addition to holding a lot less tea per bag. It is very common for European companies (especially tea, cosmetics, food items etc) to put the same name on the label but with very different and less quality ingredients to ship to the US. So be sure and not buy the cheap bags.My review is specifically for the 80, 160, 240. Mine is a box of 160, which I HIGHLY recommend
