Works great in 2022 GS
Replaced the failed OEM battery in my 2022 R1250 GS Adventure. While it included all the hardware, I had to modify it to use the original terminal connectors as the ones included were a bit short. Battery itself fit perfectly in the compartment.I followed the acid fill instructions precisely and the battery without load is 13.2V. Bike starts immediately even after a stall. OEM battery even when new would not start the bike right after the bike was shut off.And this price cannot be beat.

Excellent replacement for BMW LC GSA
Bought this prior to a trip for my 2014 BMW GSA, as existing DEKA battery (recommended built in USA brand) was beginning to show signs of failure after 5 years. This new Yuasa was a warehouse item and was not sure if I was getting a new, unactivated battery or if it had already been used/returned. Was pleasantly surprised to find a new unactivated battery and there was only a tiny bit of crush damage to the box. Battery case, posts, electrolyte pack all undamaged and all instructions/hardware included.Per instructions and using eye protection and gloves, filled battery with easy to use electrolyte pack and installed sealing caps and let it set for about 45 minutes, then installed in bike, trickle charged at recommended rate overnite and left on 1500 mile trip the next day. Bike started fine the whole trip and could I monitor charge rate, which was stable, via the built in display on the bike. Also have an Optimate charge monitor/ charging port attached to the battery that shows state of charge with a flashing LED. Most BMW dealerships I have been to seem to install this as routine on the new bikes.Yuasa is well known in the M/C community for quality batteries and being able to get one at a warehouse price was a plus. If you GSA came with the shorter battery, as mine did originally, you just need to remove the foam spacer to install this battery. Think this same battery fits the earlier camhead/hexhead GS's as well as others. Recommended purchase!

Battery for Motorcycles only?
I can't comment on how well it holds a charge. I actually bought the wrong battery because I didn't realize this appears to be ONLY for motorcycles. I bought this for a Honda Rincon 680 ATV. It does work, and seem to power it just fine, but the problem is I had to install it backwards because the posts are opposite and the wiring harness won't reach over to the other side. Not a huge deal, other than I had to put the screws on the top instead of the side. If I ever have to jump it, it will be a nightmare, but shame on me for not noticing that beforehand.Word of advice, I hate these type of batteries where the screw has an independent thread piece that is removable. I say this because I have a winch attached as well, which adds an extra connection to the battery. With that extra connection the screw is ALWAYS to short to connect to the thread (why the manufactures can't just make it longer is beyond me). The solution I have found that works best is to take a wood shim and break off a small part so that you can put it all the way through the post from one site to the other to hold the threaded part up to the top so the screw can connect to it. I have tried using just about everything and this is the easiest method makes it flat so the screw will connect correctly.Adding the electrolyte is very easy and straight forward. Once added, put the seal cap on, and leave it like the directions say before charging.I see many people leave feedback from FL, GA, or other warm states. I'm in MN and use the ATV in the cold winters for plowing. I need it to start in -20F!! So far no issues with powering hand warmers, lights, and winch. Started in 10F, but will comment on how well it works below 0, that is the real test!Update:This battery is crap! After 10 months with this battery I'm completely dissatisfied with it! 3 times I have had to "jump" it because it will not hold enough of a charge to start my ATV. Used it yesterday, and now today it will not start. And not it isn't the ATV. I can't believe this this and I will be trying to get the warranty for this since it is complete crap!Buy from your local auto parts store because when you are out, do you really want to be stuck somewhere and then think "well I saved a few dollars on this battery." I'm now skeptical if this is really a Yuasa battery or something else marketed as a Yuasa. Don't waste your time or money on this, go to your local store!!!!

Quality name brand battery with more cranking amps and separate acid
I bought this battery to increase the capacity of my stock battery YT12 on my Ducati 848. This battery fits nicely in the stock battery case after removing the factory spacers. This particular model appealed to me because of the higher capacity and separate acid. You don't have to worry how long the battery you bought has been sitting on the shelf. I followed the instructions to the letter and waited 2 hours after activation before charging. This battery measured 294 CCA on my tester. Very impressive! My old made in china battery was rated for 200 CCA and made 214 CCA on the same tester. I have used this tester on dozens of batteries and I believe it to be accurate.

will buy again
I have bought 2 of these over the last few years. The first one lasted 5 years on a honda quad. An electrical issue is what killed the battery. Dead short in some wiring. The 2nd is still in use. Seems strong and have had no issues. These batteries are also used in Buffalo NY. This means they are in extreme cold for a few months out of the year. The cold does not seem to affect them too much. As I said the first one lasted 5 years and only died because of an electrical issue. I will be buying these batteries again. They ship dry so you must activate them. Simple procedure that lasts a few minutes.IMO these batteries are stronger than the stock battery that came with the quad. I will buy again

Quality Control Needed
I have to give the product a 4 star because. The acid that is provided had a cell broken so one of the battery cells did not get a proper fill. Having a pretty well equipped personal shop I did have some acid on hand. This could have proved a real challenge for a shade tree mechanic. Quality Control could have prevented in what is a perfect match for a 2009 R1200 GS.
