This was my first lifting belt and I chose to buy one on the cheaper side, so I got this. It was initially okay during my warm up sets, but as I got to heavier working sets where I had to brace hard, the belt felt like having an elastic band around my midsection and I actually felt sick while deadlifting. I ended up getting a more heavy duty leather lifting belt which was infinitely better. Leather actually gives you a proper support to brace against, whilst the neoprene on this belt pushes back into you (like an elastic band).So I would say this is probably alright if you're a beginner, have no plans to get really strong and lift heavy, or do mostly bodybuilding style workouts. But if you're lifting more than intermediate weight on the squat and deadlift, I'd recommend you get a leather one instead.

I have the M belt from Elite Body Squad. It is very comfortable and supportive. I have previously used Inzer style belts but found them too cumbersome. The neoprene belt that Elite sell is up to any heavy lifting task, and has been manufactured to a high standard.
