Pocket-Sized Power: The Ultimate Travel Shaver – Panasonic ES-RS10-S Review
When it comes to travel shavers, the Panasonic Men's Shaver ES-RS10-S is a hidden gem that packs a surprising punch. Designed in Japan, this compact, battery-powered grooming tool is perfect for jet-setters, minimalists, and anyone who wants a quick, hassle-free shave on the go.Design & Portability – Small but MightyThe ES-RS10-S is impressively compact, about the size of a deck of cards, making it one of the most travel-friendly shavers out there. At just 100 grams, it slips effortlessly into any travel kit, backpack, or even a pocket. The silver finish gives it a sleek and premium look, and the sturdy build ensures it can withstand the bumps of frequent travel.Performance – Shockingly Smooth for Its SizeDespite its small form, this shaver doesn’t skimp on performance. Powered by two AA batteries, it delivers a surprisingly smooth and comfortable shave. The single foil blade system cuts efficiently without pulling or irritating the skin, making it great for quick touch-ups or full shaves. While it’s not meant to replace a full-fledged electric shaver for heavy-duty use, it excels at keeping you looking sharp between full grooming sessions.Battery Life – A Traveler’s Best FriendOne of the standout features is its battery efficiency. Two AA alkaline batteries can power the shaver for weeks, depending on usage. No need to worry about international plugs or charging cables – just pop in fresh batteries, and you’re set for your trip.Noise & Comfort – Whisper-Quiet ConvenienceUnlike many travel shavers that sound like miniature chainsaws, the ES-RS10-S runs quietly, making it perfect for early-morning grooming without waking up your roommates or travel companions. The ergonomic grip ensures a comfortable hold, even during quick touch-ups.Verdict – A Must-Have for TravelersThe Panasonic ES-RS10-S is a fantastic addition to any traveler’s grooming kit. It’s ultra-portable, efficient, and hassle-free, making it perfect for those who value convenience without sacrificing a clean shave. While it won’t replace a high-end home shaver, its battery-powered simplicity and pocket-sized design make it an unbeatable travel companion.

Pretty much...WOW!
I have a $200 or so Braun electric shaver...I forget, the series 9 something. In any case been traveling much more these days and finding my regular sized Braun takes up too much room, too heavy, also have to bring the charger. I wanted a very small DECENT shaver for travel and to put in my carry on luggage. Took a chance on this Panasonic shaver and I kind of thought maybe it will work...but from some negative reviews I saw maybe it will barely work and or is it really made in Japan? not China? Well I purposely did not shave for three days knowing this Panasonic shaver was going to be delivered. It is TINY like maybe about 3 inches tall/1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. I put in two rechargeable AA's in it and off I went to test it. All I can say is WOW, to how well it worked/works. I have NO idea how some reviews stated it barely cut well or, it was made in China...The box clearly says made in Japan and it's also right on the back of the shaver. What to really say here. It's tiny....it gave me a CLOSER shave than my $200 bulky Braun, and I am blown away that it works as well as it does for about just $18!! haha, I am actually looking forward to shaving again because this thing works so well. As to longevity, I can not say yet, but if it lasts a while...this is maybe the best $20-ish I have spent on Amazon all year. On a side note, I'm no brand fan boy of ANY brand, but I have NEVER had any Panasonic ANYTHING from cameras to a rice cooker die on me. They must have GREAT QC overall..as the brand is so solid esp. vs all those new no name brands from Asia...you know. I do wish it had a trimer like a larger Braun travel shaver but that Braun looks nearly twice this size and my purpose was to find the smallest electric shaver possible. I am simply wowed by this thing. If it does die on me too soon, I'll update this review...so far...I am amazed at this little guy esp. vs it's price point!!

COMFORTABLE shave and surprisingly good battery life
Not a high-performance shaver, but it is pretty good for what it is. I would buy it again. I'll go ahead and give some details...STYLE: It's why I bought this model. It makes me want to find my old NES and play Super Mario Brothers lol! I appreciate you, Panasonic!COMFORT: Excellent. It's extremely gentle and doesn't give me any irritation. In fact, I would say it's more comfortable than a lot of other shavers because of the wide foil. It will still nip you if you press it onto your face, but you are not supposed to do that anyway!CLOSENESS: It's not really a close shave, as foil shavers go. On par with an entry-level rotary shaver, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it will cut your stubble and make you look clean-shaven, but there are other shavers that will make your face feel smoother.POWER AND SPEED: In terms of the time it takes to shave, it's about the same as other shavers I tried. The motor *seems* slow and not very powerful, probably because it is small and runs on AA batteries. But hey, it will still cut through a day's growth no problem.BATTERY LIFE: Surprisingly good. I am two weeks into ownership and haven't had to change batteries yet. I started with fresh Duracell alkaline AAs.CUTTING LONGER HAIRS: This shaver is meant to be used on short hair / stubble. If you want to cut longer hairs that lay down, then you need a shaver with a trimmer bar or a razor.NOISE: It's relatively quiet for a foil shaver. Louder than my rotary shaver though.SIZE: It's tiny! About half the size of an iPhone Mini. Here's a picture of it next to my toothbrush.
