The charging port had a short cord, while my grandson's cord ran all the way from the port side through the center to a motor on the opposite side. It also didn't fit the existing port hole well, but I was able to twist it into place after splicing the wires. I works fine, but can be pushed out of it's hole if not gentle plugging it in.
