I paid extra for brand name and I am impressed with the resistance to breaking. This makes weed-eating a less frustrating.

Genuine Makita brand string, fit weed whipper like a glove, great longevity, works even in tall, thick grass.

From the title, packaging sucks, it has 'easy use' cut outs for easy unspooling but it gets tangled in itself and you'll just be cutting the darn thing open. Now you've got a pile of trim line to keep underwraps because surprise surprise but I just don't keep spare trim line containers lying around. As anyone with a makita trimmer can attest, the rotating heads do NOT feed at all, not unless you bang the head within an inch of its life or replace it but thats another expense on an already pricey tool. This doesn't fix the feed issue but was this is is cheap, so unless you have a landscaping business, this is perfect for the yard.

I have always replaced trimmer string instead of buying the replacements spools. Over the years I have replaced probably miles of string. This brand is the best I have ever used. When edging I normally have to feed more line every few feet. To my surprise, I was able to do my whole yard with only one feed. I use this line in my Greenworks 40V 15" Cordless String Trimmer. I highly recommend this line.

My husband is very happy with this string trimmer line. It works well and is a huge package that lasts a LONG time and is a fantastic value.

Absolutely love the makita line unless your edging with a weekwacker this is a great product durability, size, and speed!
