Millennium Marine SW-100 Boat Seat, Gray

I was very hopeful that this would be a great seat. And, it is except for the rust. I bought the saltwater edition. It has an aluminum frame but there is steel in it somewhere. After the first use in saltwater, I left it in position on the deck. I washed the entire boat and the seat down. When I looked at the deck the next day, rusty water had dripped out of the seat and onto the deck. I just spent three hours getting the rust stains off of the no-skid deck on my Robalo. The seat is comfortable and light. But, the rust is a major problem - and, after only one use. Bummer.

I had bought a Wise seat to use on my center console bay fishing boat and it immediately started rusting. So, I bought this seat because it is designed for saltwater use. It certainly is...no issues with rust...but they forgot to consider making the snap on the strap salt proof. Within two trips, salt had corroded the the cap on the snap and it busted. It's not a critical part of the seat, but if you are going to advertise a product for saltwater use, every part of the product should be able to withstand that environment. And, this seat is not by any means inexpensive. It's not unreasonable to expect the entire package to be high quality.

These make a long day of fishing so much better. I have $300 dollar seats in my boat. Still I had back and tailbone pain after a couple of hours of fishing. After buying a pair of these. The pain is not there as before. Also if its hot out, your tail will stay cooler.But if its cold out, well be ready to get cool. But with my cold weather gear on. That is not an issue .No more wet pants from a damp seat. These even with a heavy rain, they dry right out. Well worth the price. Plus these are build for heavy duty use.

Have purchased about 6 different seats over the last 5 years trying to get one that doesn’t kill my post spinal surgery back. Finally got one that I can go out fishing for panfish or perch and not need to be taking pain medication. I REALLY REALLY am very pleased with this seat. Well constructed and stylish. Well worth the price.

This chair is really something. Don't even hesitate, just get it...CATCH: there is only one catch... the lanyard that control the backrest inclination goes thru a rather sharp edge, so I can see it frying quickly... solutions are simple, either file just a tiny bit, or just run a piece of duck tape over the edge... either way, the chair is worth it.

I had my doubts until I tried mine yesterday the first time. I had my wife try it and now she wants one so I had to order a second one. The seats are worth every penny. The back can be adjusted through a seat strap. The only minor complaint easily fixed with a little oil was some squeaking at the hinges. If you have back problems like me this thing provides the best lumbar support ever.

Most comfortable seat I've ever used. as I get older (65) I seldom stand up fishing any more. Great back support, very light weight and a lot cooler than my original boat seat, I have two of these in my boat now!

Seat arrived quickly and in excellent shape. Well designed and well made, comfortable. Light but strong. Only problem was the snap that latches the seat closed is very cheap and broke the second time I opened it...see pics. So now seat won't stay folded closed at speed or during trailering.

Excellent seat, and amazingly comfy and looks great. There are two models millennium makes, this one is much better in quality than the black framed cheaper one. The adjustable back rest is a dream for kayaks as I’m using this one in a raptor kayak, and finding just the right spot is essential for a god day on the water. Absolutely love it, great product. My only one small complaint was that the hole pattern on the bottom wasn’t quite right, but I’m a man, I own a drill, problem solved in 30 seconds.
