Best purchase
We have had this particular dog bed for 10 years now. It was purchased originally for my golden retriever/collie mix boy who had bad arthritis and needed something soft yet supportive. He’s no longer with me but his sister has had it for the last 7 years. Her and the cats lol. I’ve only ever purchased an extra waterproof cover because it got snagged by a pair of nails or maybe claws. The bed is still in perfect supportive shape after 10 years and multiple animals using it. If you are on the fence don’t be. This is worth the money for your pet!

THESE ARE AWESOME DOG BEDS!!!
I just took the two microsuede beds I ordered out of the box today. The material is very soft, and the foam seems very nice. I'm still letting mine flatten out and reshape, so haven't actually let the dogs test them out, I'll comment on that in a week or so after they've had a chance to try them out. But I will say that the product shipped within 24 hours and arrived 3-5 days earlier than Amazon's estimate! They arrived in three days.I also e-mailed dogbed4less to figure out what the material was- in some places it is called microsuede, and in others it's suede. The response came within two hours! (It's microsuede, in case anyone else is wondering). Anyway, they seem like great beds so far, and I'm impressed with the company's quick shipping and response time.Update: *It's been a over a year since I bought these beds and wrote the above review. My dogs LOVE these beds, as do I. They have held up extremely well. I love that the beds come with extra covers to swap out when washing, and the waterproof layer is perfect for peace of mind and easy cleaning, if an accident happens. The noise the bed makes when stepped on, or if a dog shifts during the night, is more of a quiet, airy sound of the foam being squished. The waterproof cover really doesn't make much of a sound, but my pups have blankets on top of their beds, so maybe that absorbs the little bit of crinkle that it does make. The zippers are in perfect condition still. My dogs are very hard on their beds (scratching around, play chomping, even digging up entire sides of the bed to plop down under and roll around). You wouldn't know it looking at them! They don't look worn at all. I've had many many dog beds and so many of them get torn with my playful girls. Comfort wise, I've often thought they are much more comfortable than my bed! I'm 120 pounds and the foam is thick enough for me (I think a few reviews mentioned needing to layer the beds). I have a 72 lb. lab and a 67 lb. lab/pit mix. They have slept comfortably on the two beds with a third 40 lb. cockapoo friend if that gives an idea of their large size. Anyways, I can't say enough good about these beds! They are the best I've found, and for a great price. I would highly encourage anyone to spend maybe a little extra money on these beds. They are tough, extremely comfortable, and designed with practicality that is lacking in so many pet products. They may look a little plain compared to others, but if that's an issue it's so easy to throw a patterned blanket and a pillow down on top, and what dog doesn't love that anyways? AWESOME DOG BEDS!!!Second update: I bought these beds ten years ago. I finally threw them away last year, but only because my dogs had passed away and had a number of accidents on them. These beds are still 5+ stars. Several of my family members bought the same beds for their dogs because I recommended them so highly. A few things to add though, after having them for so long. These beds are incredibly resilient. As I stated before, my dogs were tough on these. My yellow lab slept, played, scratched, and rolled on these for 8 years. My lab/pit mix did the same for 9. They kept their shape and comfort. I had the opportunity to find out just how comfortable these were several years ago when I was moving. I had moved my bed to my new home but was staying one more night in the old one. I started setting up a bed on the hard floor and then looked at the dog beds in the corner. I know it's super weird, but they slept in my bed every night back then lol! I totally slept in their beds, with them tucked in around me. I felt great the next day haha! Now if your dog is ill and or getting older, there are some things to keep in mind. What I thought were waterproof covers underneath are water resistant. They'll catch a little liquid, but not a full accident. I found that out the hard way. The best, easiest solution I found was to put disposable doggy pads under the fabric cover and then I also put either a twin mattress protector or a large, washable doggy pad over the top. The washable doggy pads (made for weaning moms and puppies) are lifesavers for catching accidents that go off the side of the beds as well.I can't recommend these enough. Before buying them, I replaced dog beds every year to every couple years. These lasted almost a decade. And again, without the accidents, would have no doubt lasted years more. Great investment, comfortable for dogs of all ages (and the occasional person haha!), and less to send to the landfill when you have such a lasting product.

Top Quality and Long Lasting
I purchased two of the XL beds in August, 2015 for the big Dobe and GSD that I had at the time. It's March 2023 as I write this and those beds are in as good a condition today as when I purchased them. The dogs used them all the time, even the grandkids used them from time to time. They're immensely comfortable. Last year my GSD developed DM and these beds provided an excellent place for him to lay comfortably without developing sores as he became less mobile.I'm back today to order a smaller bed for use in the car when we travel with our smaller GSD, I expect it will be the same quality and as long lasting as those we purchased almost 8 years ago.P.S. I notice that the price has not increased too much from when we last purchased beds. Kudos for keeping cost increases under control.

Recommended for any dog owner. My dogs LOVE IT!
I am the proud owner of several labrador dogs. Due to the pack that runs around my household, I have gone through many different types of beds and usually encounter the same issue with all beds. With so many dogs running around and using the beds, I find that the covers do not withstand vigorous usage. Also, after a few months, the interior of the beds are flattened to the point that the beds no longer offer any comfort to the dogs that lay upon them.I spotted these beds and, based upon previous ratings and reviews, to give them a try.For starters, this bed is very large. It does not look that way upon delivery as it arrives wrapped up in a box but, after giving it the recommended time to breath, the interior expanded into a large full sized bed. There are two sets of covers on the mattress. The interior protects the foam from mold, mildew, and other things you do not want your bed to get. This internal cover is made of material that resembles wind breaker jackets, tents, etc. The second cover, the external one, is easy to remove for cleanings since it is a cloth microsuede. The underside of the cover has rough material imprinted on it to keep the bed from sliding around.Included with the shipment was a second external cover in case of replacement but I have, as of yet, had a need to use it.The mattress itself is very durable and comfortable. I have, on many occasions, laid down upon the bed with my dogs and enjoyed the bed. The foam is durable and firm yet conforms to the shape of the object placed on top of it. When getting of the bed, the foam returns to its normal shape. After six months of usage this bed has survived. The cover is intact and has gone through many washing. The foam is still as firm as the day it arrived maintaing its original shape.I was so impressed I ended up ordering 3 more of these beds to make sure each of my labradors had their own version of the bed to snuggle up on.Earlier I mentioned the internal cover is made of the same material that wind breaker jackets consist of. If you have ever moved around in a wind breaker jacket, then you understand the crunchy sound those jackets make. This is an issue if you have the bed in your bedroom and it is deathly quiet due to no noise. You will probably notice and hear your dog, rather loudly, getting on and off the bed. My suggestion is to remove the internal casing as moisture may not be an issue with the bed being indoors next to your own bed.PRO++ Foam is Durable and has maintained original shape after 6 months of multiple dogs utilizing the bed++ Two cover system protects internal foam from mold, mildew, dirt, moisture++ Very easy to clean and maintainCON++ Internal casing is crunchy with movement. If bed is indoors, may wake you with sleep. Suggestion is remove internal cover if moisture is not an issueCONCLUSIONThis bed does cost more than beds you see in the local stores but is head above shoulders of its peers. It is a nice healthy large size, very durable but, most important item, the foam is comfortable and healthy for my dogs.Recommended for any pet owner. I know my kiddos are worth every dollar I spend on them.

MUST HAVE!
I bought this bed a year 1/2 ago and it is, without doubt, one of the best products I've ever had! You get TWO covers (that wash up perfectly!)...and underneath the cover is this waterproof material that keeps the bed protected. It is SUPER easy to change out the covers! I've washed it for a yr 1/2 and it is like brand new every time I wash it! Highly recommend for your dog! Oh, and he loves it. ❤️.
