Yummy and great value compared to my local store!

I was skeptical in this product, but decided to purchase the product and give it a try. Glad I did! Very tasty. Has the heat element, and sugary. Chewy but not over so. And oh so yummy! Sealable bag.

I LOVE candied ginger and this brand is exceptional!!!Delicious.

Tender and nice size slices. It has very mild flavor compared to other brands I've tried. I prefer the bolder.

Two pounds of wonderful tasting ginger and we know ginger is great for many reasons.The color is that yellow gold and the pieces vary in size. It's tasty, not too much sugar and the spicy kick is perfect.However the elephant in the room is the Sulphur and before you don't order this great product I want to pass on some info about sulpher dioxide necessary to keep things from spoiling to quick :1) it's true that Sulphur is not good if you're breathing the gas or eating large quantities of the preservative.2) Sulphur is found on and in many fruits naturally3) as a preservative it's used in dried fruits, wines and other food items4) GOOD NEWS, the sulfur found on grapes, other fruits and dried fruits like ginger, you can wash it off!Take the amount you want to consume and wash the ginger using clean water just as would if you were going to eat some grapes or other foods which is a good practice anywayNo, I'm not a doctor, just a researcher careful about what I consume, I have to be because, like others, I have a body that has some issuesAlways do your own research using reputable sources and be proactive with your health. I have never had any issues with crystallized ginger.Last words, the product comes from the great people of Thailand who have packaged a great product that not only tastes great but have the best price. This is by far the best ginger out there. It tastes great and is softer than others I tried. Others are either too dry or seem artificial. And I do not like the hard candy ginger. Mostly, I use it for settling my stomach but it is also a nice treat after a meal. I highly recommend this ginger.

I have Crohns and have used ginger for many years. Recently I was running low on my number of packages that I have purchased from Trader Joe and was there doing other shopping when I noticed that TJ's shelves of ginger where empty. This status of ginger lasted for many weeks so I talked with employee stocking and was told that they are having many issues getting any type of Ginger. Out of concern for the amount of ginger I eat every day trying to settle my many stomach issues, I thought I would buy some from Amazon while I was ordering other items. When my "new" ginger arrived I noticed that this item was completely different from anything I had previously purchased. It is loaded with sugar and has totally NO FAVOR. It was horrible and not anything I would want to eat. Since it is such a huge part of my daily diet, I want to put into my stomach that will help me not increase my sugar levels beyond what I want to have. I strongly suggest that you find another source for ginger and not buy this product from Amazon. I ended up throwing away 25.00 worth of ginger and went without for a few days until I could find another source of ginger with no sugar or little as possible. I consider myself a expert on the quality of ginger since I have been using ginger for my crohns for close to 20 years and this ginger is not worth your time or money.

This is very sweet and have a lemony taste. My usual brand of Cambia was discontinued. I eat these a bite at a time over days. Very sad. Only item that gives me true relief for ulcer acid.
