USB C to VGA, uni VGA to USB C Adapter [Thunderbolt 3] Compatible for MacBook Pro, MacBook, iPad Pro/MacBook Air 2018, Dell XPS 13/15, Surface Book 2 and More - Gray

Got two of these since my work issued me a macbook pro but I have an older two-screen monitor display setup. Worked like a charm and has continued to serve me well the last few months. These will only be more useful in the future as I'm sure my next personal laptop will probably have more USB-C ports (current one only has one, so can only do two screens instead of three if I'm using my personal laptop). Worth buying!

Bought this to teach in a classroom with old vga monitors and assumed my laptop was the reason it never worked but did more testing with our IT today and determined this cord is the issue. The connector has never connected successfully.

I made it work with acceptably with a Dell 13" laptop and two dell FHD monitors, but: 1) it doesn't work properly in the screen mirror mode (when mirroring the laptop screen, the picture on the monitor has wrong proportions and is unusable). It worked in the extend mode only. 2) Gets too hot - the operating temperature of an adapter should be that high.

Doesn't work on my 2019 Macbook Pro. I plug it in to another computer (a Thinkpad) and it works fine.

UNI makes great accessories. I purchase a lot adapters and cables as a school IT person and after a lot of DOA products and others that dont last a month, I found UNI products and never had a problem. The build quality is excellent and their prices are good (not the cheapest, but trust me, you dont want those products). I bought their usb-c to vga adapters, usb-c to hdmi adapters, HDMI cables, usb-c to HDMI cables, usb-c to ethernet. Never had a problem with their products. Other brands, I purchased 40 usb-c to hdmi and vga adapters and in less than two years, there are less than 10 that have survived just from poor build quality. So far, I have not ran into a problem with UNI in about a year of using their products.

Worked ok for a single day, then died.Pros: Comes with a microfiber bag so you can cleanly dispose of this when it inevitably breaks.Cons: Gets quite warm while in use. Probably not designed correctly since a lot of adapters don't seem to do this. If you want to use this for a laptop, all that heat makes you wonder whats going to happen to your battery life. Broke after ONE DAY of use.

I wanted to love this. It’s the best looking design looks great and fits securely at both ends even tho no screws on the VGA end.DID NOT WORK on new 2018 MacBook Pro. I returned it twice. Sad

The adaptor does its job very well. Since it is intended to mate with a 15-pin connector, ideally it would include mounting holes for the screws on the 15-pin connector to ensure it would hold together. I guess that is a cost consideration, but I would pay the extra for the peace of mind.

Der Adapter sieht stabil und wertig aus. Er besteht aus Gewebekabel und Stecker bzw. Buchse sind außen aus Metall.Eingesteckt, angeschaltet und das Display des iPad Pro ist auf dem Monitor sichtbar.Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, aber da erwarte ich keine Probleme, der Adapter sieht sehr solide aus.Einen kleinen Aufbewahrungsbeutel gibt es auch dazu.

Ich habe das Produkt seit einer Woche im Einsatz. Es funktioniert tadel los ist klein und nach meiner Meinung sehr gut verarbeitet . Kontaktprobleme gab es bisher noch nie meine absolute Empfehlung - passt absolut zum neuen Dell PC fünf Sterne hierfür !

Der Adapter passt perfekt ins Gehäuse meines MBP 2016 15 Zoll, sodass ich mein externes Display problemlos anschließen kann.Das Kabel wirkt stabil und durch seine Ummantelung hochwertig.Mitgeliefert wurde außerdem ein kleiner Beutel, um den Adapter beim Transport zu schützen.Kontakt zum Kundenservice war freundlich und zielführend: Ich benötigte eine Rechnung mit Firmenadresse.
