Good product for what it is.
These are a good length, and are much thinner than most other glasses keepers. I've had one pair for a few years, and they have held up well, although as with anything leather, they've lost some of their gloss with use. (I've never tried polishing them.) I've used them on wire-rimmed sunglasses as well as a couple of different kinds of reading glasses, both plastic rimmed and wire rimmed.Croakies uses what I consider odd nomenclature, calling the adjustable ends which snug up to whatever size the temples are on your glasses "spec ends". The ends on these work fine, although I've had others which hold more tightly: the Croakies use a rubber band to snug the rubber end, whereas some brands use a metal bead. In my experience, ones with a metal bead hold better. The Croakies do seem to be made of premium materials, as the ends have held up better than some.My main wish would be for an option for an adjustment bead on the back of the cord, not as a replacement for these, but as an alternative for those who want or need to adjust the length of the cord, or to help hold glasses in place, say for sailing. I often am juggling reading glasses and sunglasses, and would love to be able to adjust the length.

Very basic, but works well enough
These are good if you want a subtle, non-sporty look. For years, I used stylish metal chains on my prescription sunglasses to make sure I wouldn't ever set them down and lose them. I realized that some of the chains were scratching my glasses while they were in the case (if you take your sunglasse off and on dozens of times a day, it's not practical to remove the chain every time), so I looked for an alternative. All the other cloth and leather options out there looked too much like they were designed for athletic wear, but these do the trick. The rubber ends start getting too loose to stay on after about a year, but they're inexpensive so it's not a big deal.

BUYER'S REMORSE - VERY DISAPOINTED
I purchased these because I'm recently retired and spend most of my time puttering around in my workshop ... It seems as if I'm constantly taking my glasses on and off to see close-up detail and was afraid that one day I'd set my glasses in the wrong spot and accidentally break them ... after reading many reviews and looking at many different styles, I decided to give these a shot and ordered myself a pair ... after wearing them for less than 24 hours I had to remove them, I just do not like these at all ... the "Premium Leather Cord" appears to be made of some sort of stiff plastic, it does not feel or look like leather at all ... they do not "hang" right, not like I expected or hoped for ... they are semi-stiff and stick-out off my face making me look like some sort of insect and are very uncomfortable ... I guess I'll try the old fashioned "chain" style, at least I can expect them to hang correctly and not jut-out off my face like these do ... it's good thing they did not cost me very much because I wish I had never purchased them..

A FINE CROAKY!
Very pleased with this croaky. It feels supple, and has a rich look to it. No frills. Just good quality. I only wish the maker would create a way to keep the attach loops in place so they don't slide off the temple things. I know they are adjustable, but it only works for a few hours. I love this item, but sorry Charlie -- no cigar!

This croakie appeared to be a excellent cord for my glasses
This croakie appeared to be a excellent cord for my glasses. The round leather cord was very nice and the rubber portion that attached to the glasses frame was secure and never needed adjustment. The problem was/is in the construction. I order two pair, but ended up just using one of them. After seven months use the rubber portion (which attaches to the glasses frame) simply gave out while I was wearing them. I was disappointed that they did not last very long, but I still had a brand new unused pair, or so I thought. When I open the package for the second pair the end piece was not attached, so there was no way to attach them to my glasses.I really liked the cord, but the very poor construction makes these very expensive to use, so I am naturally disappointed. If one cord had failed, I would not write a negative review (data set of one), but 2 out of 2 prompted me to add my experience to the others that also have had problems with the poor construction.

Love this Leash
This sunglass leash does exactly what it's supposed to do. Stays on tight and very lightweight. Great price for what I needed it for. Had one just like it but lost my glasses in the ocean so needed to replace (my fault, such a bummer). Recommended.

I had a cord I loved. It has never worn out but I got ...
For over 10 years, I had a cord I loved. It has never worn out but I got tired of it, so I began the hunt for a new one. I found this Croakies cord and thought it looked nice enough. For 8 months it worked fine, except one of the holder began to stretch out and my glasses come loose from time to time. But today, I was putting the cord on my glasses and noticed that the little loop is almost split in half. It won't last much longer. This is very disappointing as I haven't even had the cord for a year yet. Given that my last cord has lasted over a decade (not a Croakies), I simply can't give this cord a good rating. Beware. The cord itself seems to be of good quality, but the little loops that hold the glasses are not.

Seems premium - time will tell (Lasted FOUR YEARS!)
I really like the sturdiness of the leather. The rubber bands seem sturdier than other eyeglass chains I've had. The single thing I'd change is to make it just a few inches longer. Maybe I just got used to the previous one, but this seems to get caught on my ears, collar etc sometimes. I'll revisit this review in the future depending on how long it lasts intact.Update April 2018Bought in July 2014, used daily until rubber band broke today. Leather held up great! This is the best eyeglass holder I've ever had. It outlasted and outperformed every chain, rope, etc I've ever used. I'm giving it 5 stars & reordering

Se rompió sola a los 4 días de uso.
Tras cuatro días de uso se reventó la correa quedando totalmente inútil. Pésimos materiales. Esperaba más de este producto, tomando en cuenta que era cuero.

Not good for glasses with thin arms like reading glasses.
This does not hold my reading glasses well at all. The loops that go on the arms of my glasses are two big, so my glasses slip right out all the time. Maybe with large arm sun glasses this would work well. But I tossed it aside and use an FMS Adjustable Paracord lanyard instead.

Buen producto
Es un buen producto. Justo lo que buscaba para que no se pierdan los lentes por dejarlos por todos lados. Sujetan bien el armazón y no se resbalan.
