Delacre Prestige Luxury Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Assortment 45.9 Ounce Gift Tin

December 25, 2012 I have given this to my boyfriend's aunt as a Christmas gift. I noticed she had a taste for sweet things such as cookies--and also the fact that she is a class gal who loves tea parties. So as I was browsing through Amazon I found this. I figured since my BF's aunt love cookies and tea parties that this would be an excellent gift.Christmas came and sure enough she opened the gift and was ecstatic upon receiving such a delightful item. She absolutely LOVED this! I also happen to have a taste of a few cookies and it was divine! So exquisite! It also came when a menu on the back of the tin box on what was inside. Very nice!I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth or perhaps if you want something along with your tea, this would be the item to buy!

I was given a box of these Biscuits about 3 years ago for Christmas. They were so delicious that we had to have them again, I have bought a box for my husband and I every Christmas since. In fact last Christmas I got paranoid thinking that I had forgotten to order them and I ordered a second box. So you can imagine how happy we were to have them. Will continue to buy them until I can no longer find them online. My family member who sent them to us the first time now sends us food baskets and we are so disappointed but I don't want to hurt their feelings so I buy our own tin of biscuits.

The Delacre Belgian Chocolate Biscuit Assortment's are truly wonderful! I have ordered them for myself as well as for gifts that have pleased the receiver's. I want to note however, that there is a fault in their advertising. I ordered the Delacre Prestige "Luxury"...Assortment and also the Delacre Prestige "Elegant"...Assortment. When my package arrived today I received 2 of the "Luxury" Assortments. Upon calling the shipper I was told that there really wasn't any difference in the two, despite the difference in prices? He went on to give me an explanation I didn't understand as it made no sense. So if you are looking for two different Assortments to try, keep in mind that "Luxury and Elegant" are the same thing. The chocolate get's a 4/5 and cookies get a 4/5. Both were excellent; not the BEST I've ever had but I'm slightly biased. My experience in the culinary world have led me to try many great deserts. However, if you're looking to give cookies/chocolates as a gift, this would be at the top of my list unless you're making them yourself.

I bought these as a gift. I was very disappointed to find it came with stickers that cannot be removed without destroying the packaging.If you are buying these for yourself you may find them delightful, if you are buying them as a gift look at my uploaded picture to decide if this is what you want to give.Also, my tin was a different color, which seems odd.I uploaded a picture of the back of the tin that shows the contents. Please mark my review helpful if you find it so.

Nice variety, textures, flavors. Nothing knock-your-socks-off here but really handy to have around the house for a little treat. The tin keeps everything fresh and there are a ton of cookies in there. Just gave one as a gift and first received one as a gift. Glad to find it here on Amazon to conveniently order.

These are always a favorite since I took a trip to Belgium and had tasted the cookies during a break in a classroom environment. Liked so much I brought two containers back to the US. Have bought additional tins when they are 'in season' for several years. They are better than some of the products that are available locally in stores during the holidays.

It took a little over a week for these to arrive, tracking shows they sat in one warehouse for three days straight. By the time I got them, the chocolate was completely melted off all the cookies. On top of that, I was sent a holiday gift tin with Christmas decoration. This is July. That would suggest these cookies are at least 6 months old, although there is no listed expiration date on the package.The taste was alright, although somewhat stale. The one cookie I ate is now giving me a terrible stomach ache. I'm pretty disappointed.
