Followed set up directions, turned it on, got some ice and then it starting grinding and making a horrible noise. Unplugged, waited, started over and the same thing happened. Getting a refund and sending it back.

This machine is very quiet. We had previously purchased a smaller ice machine and that one was very loud and took a long time to make ice. This one is great! I completely recommend this model. Quiet and quickly makes ice.

Mine makes the same noise as the video above without producing ice. Unfortunately I waited more than 30 days after purchase to deal with it and I didn’t buy extended warranty! I’m screwed!

This is a great ice maker. 8 cubes in 6 minutes! A gallon jug fills a gallon ziplock freezer bag, who knew. (haha) It was easy to clean with the baking soda water mix. We threw that ice away and added clean water. The ice is delicious with distilled water. Easy to chew. Machine operation is easy. Just turn it on and fill it up. It’s self cleaning and filled a falling size ziplock in a half day for me.The ice will melt and go back into the water reservoir. There is no cooler to keep the ice frozen in the machine.
