Steampunk Victorian Style Goggles with Compass Design & Ocular Loupe, Rave Glasses

I noticed that a lot of the reviewers had an issue with these because they are made out of plastic. I have a lot of experience with buying steampunk merchandise, so therefore I'm aware that you can't even touch goggles made from real metal or leather for anything under 60 bucks. If you even can find goggles made out of real leather or metal for 60 bucks, that's actually considered a bargain. The only time I've seen any in that price range was at a steampunk booth a few years ago, at the Northern California Pirate Festival. Since then, I've yet to see any that reasonably priced. Most goggles made from real materials will run you at least a hundred bucks, possibly more. Look around on Etsy and other listing here on Amazon. You'll see what I'm talking about.So its kind of ridiculous that people are down-rating these because they're made of plastic. You only paid 25 bucks for these, what did you expect???? Steampunk stuff is expensive. Even the costume stuff is pricey. That's just a fact. You want real materials? Be prepared to pay out the nose for them. A measly 25 bucks isn't going to get you ANYTHING made of real materials.That being said, these are actually a really nice pair of costume goggles. They look high quality and look as if you've paid more than just twenty five dollars. They have real metal accents to them, such as the magnifying specs and the metal trim around one of the lenses. The little magnifying specs are a great touch. They even attach via a little clip, so if you want just the goggles, you don't have to have the specs. I do recommend putting a dab of craft glue on their clip if you think you might want to have the specs on all the time, because from looking at them; I can tell that they might fall off if you're planning on actually wearing these and not just using them as a decorative item. Overall though, these goggles really are sturdy. They're made from a hard plastic, not a soft plastic like I've seen with other costume goggles. So you won't have to worry about them ripping when you take them on and off.I purchased these as a purely aesthetic touch for my husband's top hat that he'll be wearing to the Edwardian Ball in San Francisco this year. He won't actually be wearing them on his face, we're just putting them around the brim of his hat as an extra touch. They really do look awesome with the hat. HOWEVER, my issue with these goggles are the strap they are on. Wow is it ugly! It looks like the straps on regular swimmer's goggles. I would have been fine with just a basic black strap, but the strap is black with ugly stitched zigzag stripes of bright gaudy blue, which clashes really harshly with the overall look of the goggles. We had to cut the strap off and replace it with a thick black ribbon. This works just fine because my husband wasn't planning on actually wearing them on his face. They're just a hat decoration, so the lack of adjustability isn't an issue for him. They're never coming off the hat, so the ribbon in place of a strap isn't a problem.However, if you're planning on wearing these on your face, you may want to look elsewhere. If you need an adjustable strap, you'll have to keep the one it comes with... and man is it unattractive!

I’m not sure why I bought these, but I thought they’d at least be useful, while being a little off-the-wall and cool in an odd way. That much is true, but I was completely unprepared for how cheap they are. They are made about like Halloween costumes you’d buy at the grocery store. It’s hard to pick them up or put them on without parts falling off, and they are the cheapest plastic imaginable. I’d guess that the entire things cost no more than 75¢ to make. I like colored glasses, especially the purple/lavender I thought I was getting, but they are so extreme as to be difficult to see through. If there is one redeeming factor, it’s the magnifying glasses. They actually work. But they aren’t usable through the dark and deep filter of the goggles’ glass. If these were better made, I’d probably love them. I wasn’t expecting a collectors item, but this is ridiculous!

In and of themselves, these goggles were exactly what I was looking for.The goggles are real, the lenses are CLEAR (which was beneficial). The magnifying glasses work.The fact that a metal pipe tie is used to hold on the lenses really improves the aesthetic. Cool bonus that the side dials are actually compass faces.Moreover, I absolutely LOVE that I can take the magnifying lenses OFF the goggles, and use them with my regular prescription eyeglasses (given my prescription, that kind of renders them useless, but it looks really cool; on the plus side, who knew skin cells could be so high-def?)I might look into switching the magnifying lenses to be left-handed, at some point, however, as I'm majorly left-eye dominant. Although, it still looks fine if they rest UNDER the frame on the left side, so I may not bother.Incredible craftsmanship. Wonderful aesthetic. No complaints.These are the work of a TRUE artisan.

They're exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with them, the color is as pictured. They are a bit heavy, but I am leaving them on a hat instead of wearing them on my face or head. They seem pretty sturdy, there is a little plastic piece that seems delicate but when you clip it on to the goggles it stays in place. Very happy, I will buy them in another color for my other costumes.

These are very neat goggles!The additional lenses detach, so they can be worn with or without them, for a different look whenever I feel like it. It's almost like having two different goggles, without having to buy two pairs (even though I ended up with two sets due to an overdue package).The goggles themselves are fairly comfortable to wear both on the face and above the forehead, and I didn't need much adjustment to them when I got them, even though they are completely adjustable. The strap itself is pretty comfortable too, I don't really notice the strap at all for quite some time, so that was a huge bonus.All of the parts are well attached, and haven't budged a bit (the bits that aren't supposed to move, that is), so the construction is solid. I'm very happy with the goggles, and while it was frustrating that the first order seemed to get lost in the mail, I'm not the least bit disappointed to have ended up with two pairs.

Hallo liebe Amazonler!Heute rezensiere ich das 2er Set von YOOTECH, den Wireless Charger (Qi) in der runden und der stehenden Version, benutzt wird dazu ein iPhone XS.Da Apple ja bekanntlich mit dem 8er iPhone die "induktive Ladung" eingeführt hat und man daher die Möglichkeit hat, das iPhone so zu laden und den Lightning Anschluss zu "schonen", habe ich mich nach günstigen Alternativen umgesehen.Das 2er Set hier besteht eben aus der runden Variante und der großen Variante.Das iPhone wird mit einer Lederhülle benutzt und das bereitet dem Gerät kein Problem beim laden, da ist also alles in Ordnung!Von 1% bis 100% braucht die Station knapp 3 Stunden, teilweise etwas länger. Der Dot ist ungefähr gleich schnell.Die Verarbeitung der beiden Geräte ist total okay, von der Ästhetik her gliedert es sich auch nahtlos in meine "Bürostadt" ein.Kann daher das Set nur empfehlen, vor allem da man den Dot immer "schnell" mal eben mitnehmen kann und dieser in Nahezu jede Tasche etc. passt!

Das stehende Teil ist ausgezeichnet für den Nacht-Tisch geeignet, da die LED nur kurz aufleuchtet, wenn man das Handy zum Laden auflegt und ansonsten nicht störend leuchtet oder blinkt. Somit kann ich mein Handy (Flugmodus) dank Always-On-Display optimal als Uhr und Wecker benutzen, während es auflädt.Das liegende Teil funktioniert ebenfalls wie gewünscht, LED-Verhalten ist das gleiche, nämlich dezent.Und für den Preis super! Mir hätte ja das stehende Teil gereicht, aber dann nehm ich doch gerne noch das zweite mit :)

Meine 3te Ladestation von Yootech.Diese besitzt ich im Büro.An meinem Privaten Computer, sowie am Bett.Einfach das Handy drauf legen und es lädt.Sogar schnell!Das Licht an der Station geht nach wenigen Sekunden aus sodass es Nachts nicht beim schlafen stört.

Das Set ist für diesen Preis unschlagbar!Ich verwende es mit einem IPhone XR, welches sich in einer ca. 0,5mm dicken Hülle befindet. Hier macht das Laden überhaupt keine Probleme. Ein bekannter hat mit einem Samsung Android (ungefähr gleich dicke Hülle) versucht zu laden, aber für dieses Gerät müsste erst diese Schutzhülle entfernt werden, damit der Ladevorgang startet.Da es sich aber bei solchen Dingen eher um eine Limitierung im gesamten Konzept des kabellosen Ladens oder aber der Qualität der verwendeten Schutzhülle handelt und weniger um einen Fehler bei diesem konkreten Produkt, kann ich hier beruhigt volle 5 Sterne auf das hier angebotene Set vergeben. Ich habe beide Ladestationen jeweils am USB-Port eines PCs angeschlossen und komme auf vernünftige Ladezeiten. Dennoch muss jeder selbst testen, ob das entsprechende Handy (in einer Schutzhülle) anständig laden wird. Bei IPhones würde ich mir da jedenfalls keine Sorge machen.Die Haptik der Ladeschalen geht völlig in Ordnung und macht überhaupt keinen billigen Eindruck. Also Kaufempfehlung (wenn klar ist, dass das Handy und die Hülle den Ladevorgang unterstützen).

Super Qualität und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Ich habe nach einem Qi-fähigen Wireless charger gesucht und bin auf dieses Produkt gestoßen, hier bekommt man 2 charger zum super Preis! Aufladen mit dem Iphone x funktioniert super und sieht außerdem optisch auch noch sehr gut aus! Den Standlader habe ich im Wohnzimmer unaufällig auf der Wohnwand stehen (s. Bild) der andere flache zum drauflegen ist auf meinem Nachttisch und auch dort macht er sich super!Habe den Artikel bereits 1 Tag nach der Bestellung erhalten. Alles super!
