Satellite Finder for Directv, FTA, and Dish Network SF-95 B

Intended to take camping to locate a satellite signal, I found it really didn't help. It was much easier to get work with nearby campers that had their satellites already hooked up with automatic finders. Would not recommend to those that think this will solve their problems, however it 'could' help.

makes tuning in the sat dish easy for me and friends .I combine it with a phone app with gps to get me in the ball park with tilt and angle

I bought this one to replace one of a different brand. Just because it was a few dollars less. That was a big mistake because now I am going to buy another one. I spent a lot of time trying to get set up because of this meter. It said I had a signal but when I got into the RV there was no signal and buy the time I got back out the signal was gone off the meter. Turned out that the signal showed up on the meter but would not go back into the TV. I disconnected the meter and when I went back in the signal was coming into the TV. Would not recommend to anyone.

The satellite locator was easy to use and very useful to locate the signal to the reciever. It was reasonable in price and worked very good. Good Value.

You have to remember with in line meters like this that your cable run cannot be more than 5 meters. If it is you won't get the signal you're looking for. Also it can't tell you which satellite you're hitting so if you "have signal on the meter", but don't have signal at the box, you're probably not on the satellite that your SATELLITE RECEIVER is programmed to. The meter reacts very fast when you hit a satellite but again you never truly know which one it is.
