Smart Caregiver Cordless Monitor with Cordless 24in x 48in Gray Floor Mat - Get to Them so They Don't Walk Alone!

My elderly father gets up multiple times a night and the care givers rely on this mat and alarm heavily. It is flawless. Works every time and has never failed. I would highly recommend this over a bed alarm. My Dad tromps across it with his walker, stands on it for periods of time during the day, and even my elderly mother continuously walks on it if we forget to slide it under the bed during the day. Still, the mat and alarm work every single time. We have had this over a year now and it has definitely been worth the investment.

As advertised--chimes to alert me that my husband is getting out of bed. Wish I had discovered this months ago! Note that the transmitter is in the velcro pocket of the mat and you have to open the pocket to get it out and turn it on. I had to call the provider's phone number as I didn't understand from the directions--she was super helpful and kind. Probably my fault for not reading the directions closely enough. But anyway, once I called I understood what to do and it works great!

This was recommended at my caregivers meeting and it is awesome! I am remotely aware when my loved one gets out of bed with a chime (3 sound levels). I cover it with a rug so he's unaware it's there. Has definitely been a helpful aid in my caregiving.

The written user instructions are very basic and can be confusing as they do not explain things simply - BUT that aside - the mat and minitor are very simple to set up and once you get the them working it is an absolute godsend. It works exactly as I had hoped it would. And although I am a heavy sleeper it instantly wakes me up when Omi steps on it if she gets out of bed. I am very happy with this mat and am happy to recommend it to anyone looking after a loved one who needs to be cared for closely to ensure their safety.

The mat is placed by my elderly father's bed so I am alerted when he gets up. He is prone to wandering at night. I have cameras in his room that alert me to his movement; however, the alerts were coming in 5-10 times an hour. I can now turn off the camera alerts because the mat only alerts me when he gets out of bed. The camera alerts could also be delayed but as soon as he places pressure on the mat, I am alerted immediately. The mat has also proved to be very durable. There is an option is purchase a power supply, but I have just used the batteries and have not had to replace them yet. All-in-all this mat is one of the best purchases I have made for the care of my father.

When it works it's great. For almost $200, I would expect if to work for more than 2 months. I purchased for my elderly parents 2 months ago, and it already stopped working. Complete piece of junk- don't waste your money!!!!

My father has dementia and he’d been keeping me woke all day and night. A friend had mentioned something about a mat alarm . Since, l had no sleep l immediately got on Amazon found this mat with alarm cordless was awesome! I had to call the very helpful helpline because it wasn’t working properly. After troubleshooting with the tech everything is working fine. I have gone from watching monitor all night (lol) to falling asleep on monitor sleeping like a baby only waking up when the alarm goes off. The other great thing about it is you have to turn off manually to stop chirping noise and three settings for alarm chimes: low, med and high!😍

I was in hopes this would be beneficial for our needs, but in our case, it will not. The pad works when it is stepped on, but the receiver has to be turned off manually.We were hoping the receiver would stop chiming as soon as someone stepped back off of the pad, but it keeps on chiming until the receiver is manually turned off.
