I have an ati 1911 with hogue grips and it is amazing comfortable is this grip a rubber type?

Hello Mr. Harris, I too have a 1911 clone by Para Ordinance. I purchased this product hoping it would provide exactly what it's intended to provide. Unfortunately, the Para Ordinance ' s grip frame is a little beveled. Thus, the new grips would not fit evenly. I intend to sell it some how. Anyways, to answer your question- the product is a composite plastic material. It's hard and only fits the 1911 if the aforementioned handle is not beveled. It requires the original screw holes in the grip as well as where the Weaver rail is located. Your hogue grip would have to be removed then replaced on top of this product. However, having several Hogue grips myself, I am unsure if the added thickness this product features would prevent the custom made Hogue from fitting properly or not. I hope I answered your question in so many words. I wish there was an agent available to answer my questions before I bought it because it does not, indeed, fit "all 1911s and clones." I'd almost be willing to give mine away now. $50 down the drain. Take care.

will this fit a ruger p85?

Thre Recover is designed to fit any standard 1911 or 1911 commander frame. Caveat here is that some manufacturers may alter grip screw spacing, so buyer beware. The recover is a comfortable and sturdy unit.

Will any of the recovery tac grip rail mods fit my 90s model browning hi power 9mm

I had it on a 9mm 1911 not a browning though. I'd venture a guess that if it's a 5 inch 1911 without an existing rail and normal 1911 grips fit it, it will likely work.
