And perhaps a new, much higher priced model might have this feature. But for the Vertuoline family in the low to moderate price range, two 'work around' solutions exist. One is to heat water to desired temperature and add desired amount to the cup and the second method is to run the 1.35 ounce or 2.7 oz capsule through again. Doing it this way adds this same preset amount of water, at the same temperature and as the water runs through the coffee grounds again, it brings a little bit of coffee with it. If your coffee is slightly too strong, probably best to just add a small amount of hot water to your taste.
