Easy to set up
Wish we would have purchased this sooner. It is easy to set up and take down once you watch a couple videos. We were very comfortable sitting inside it, but we did have small fans blowing on us. Glad we chose the bigger size for ease of getting around with our lounge chairs and small tables inside it. Measure the area of storage in your travel vehicle, I guessed it would fit, my husband didn’t think it would, we have a smaller RV, but it fit. It feels sturdy and it kept the bugs out. We were happy that it weighed less than the prior canopy we had. We added one side shade panel to keep us out of the sun which worked great.

So easy to set up, and the wind panels really work
We have 2 different Clam portable screen shelters, and we love them both. The 12 x 12 is large enough to accommodate an 8 ft picnic table at a campsite, but it folds enough to fit into the space we have available on the floor of our travel trailer. We can set it up in about 1 minute, and it takes only a little bit longer to take it down, because it has to be folded and stuffed into the bag.We love having the wind panels, although I wish we had known that they did not fasten the same as the panels on our other model. Because they only have 2 velcro attachments in addition to hooks at the top, and they do not have a flap that covers the top, they allow rain to dribble onto the screen. The panel for the door does not fasten at all except at the hooks at the corners, so it will sag and let rain blow in. We are considering adding velcro in the same locations as the side panels. The description does say wind panels, though, not rain panels, and we should have noticed that before we bought it.Still, with the panels up, most of the rain stays out, and the one thing we really like about these panels is that they can be loosened at the top while still be fastened along the sides with the velcro and the hooks at the bottom corners. This creates privacy around the bottom of the screen, and keeps the panels attached enough to be thrown back up quickly during a sudden, unexpected rain storm. Of course, the panels can be left attached or taken off for each independent side. The screen keeps out most bugs, but like any screen, not all. It is still great protection from bugs, and we love the fact that it provides a bit of shade while keeping stuff from falling onto the picnic table. The no-see-um mesh is fine enough to act as a bit of a wind screen itself, though, so it keeps breezes out on a hot day. That is the one drawback. We have had many people ask us where we got this screen after seeing how easy it is to put up and take down and how well it protects from bugs as well as the weather. It is a great addition to our camping gear.Three things to consider:1. The storage bag fits - barely. We get that storage space is a consideration, but the bag could be a bit longer and wider - especially when the screen has to be taken down wet.2. The screen comes with stakes, but they are not the best for hard surfaces. The campgrounds often have gravel pads. We purchased different stakes that work better in hard surfaces, stay put, yet pull out more easily.3. If purchasing the screen without panels, and you decide to get them later, make sure you get the correct panels for the model of screen you purchased. Also, I think some models do not have panels avaialbe. We really recommend getting the panels!

Almost unbreakable!
I had mine set up in Wyoming, got hit by a huge wind storm…..I had it lashed to the frame of my camper as well as staked out. The wind tore out the stakes and wrapped it around the side of my camper…I thought for sure poles would be bent or broken. No. I just pulled the whole thing back and popped the sides out and staked it back down.A few of the ground grommets were torn off but that was the only damage and easily fixable with a little sewing skill. Definitely worth the money and would by again.PS. Several easy ups other people had were mangled beyond repair by the wind!

So easy to set up!!
Got the 5 sided 9’ Clam in brown with the 3 solid side covers. When we go camping, I’m the only adult, so I needed something super easy to set up. This 100% achieves that. I’ve used it 3 times now and the set up takes less than 3 minutes. I worried I wouldn’t be tall enough to pop up the center, but it’s no issue (5’6”). The first time I set it up I did worry that I was doing it wrong because you really push along the top edge of the side to get the cross frame to pop out.Pros: so easy to set up, makes a great place to set up camp & move bikes into over night to keep dry. Solid panels are easy to add/remove/move around to customize where you have added privacy. 5 sided/9’ fits two roll top camp tables and two chairs with room to move around. Also worked extremely well as a shaded space for kids to play in.Cons: the mesh sides really don’t let breeze/air movement to happen so it can get a bit stuffy and make sure to stake it down every time because the wind will tumble it over. Once bugs get in, it’s hard to get them out without taking the whole thing down (although when you do, the bugs have a way to escape so you don’t have to end up with a bunch of dead bugs next time you use it).I am very pleased with my purchase. The seller was responsive - the shelter ships separate from the side panels (makes sense) but Amazon only listed one tracking number, so when the side panels arrived and I couldn’t see a status for the shelter, I reached out.

The best screen tent
We’ve had many screen tents in our past, this one is amazing! Super easy setup (about a minute) and waterproof without spraying it ourselves. It’s perfect!

Fast set up, easy too!
Saw this at a campsite across the road from ours. It went up so quick that we went over to talk with the people who had it. They showed us how easily it went up and came down. We liked it so much we bought one as soon as we got home. Right out of the box it was up in about 1 minute. Good quality and the no-seeum mesh is tough.

Easy to erect and compact design.
This shelter is very easy to put up and takes very little time to do so. It will accommodate 2 camp chairs and a small camp table. When the 3 walls are attached, it provides good shelter from wind and rain. When it staked into the ground, it is very stable and secure. Ours’ came through a 4 hour series of and wind without a problem.

Quick and easy set up
Just what we were looking for camping. Perfect size for the two of us.Doesn’t take up much space in our van and actually fits back into the bag.The two of us had no problem setting it up or taking down. The flaps are easy to attach, although I wish the flaps went under a lip of material at the top.

Nearly instant protection from bugs…
Love the protection from bugs and rain. Easy to set up and pack up. The vertical walls make for greater living space than traditional screen shelters that slope. Some people might not like the single door but it’s no big deal for us. The add-on wall panels work great except there is no version for the door side so we leave that one off. We also traded out one wall panel for a DIY clear vinyl replacement to give light and a view. A great feature is, the light coloured roof that makes the inside so much brighter than a dark roof would allow. Only complaint is the zipper: because it is the only door it gets heavy use and we’ve repaired it several times each season. Might need to replace it soon. That said, we love our Clam so much that I bought another (this order) as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. Whether we are tenting, using our motorhome, the Clam is another room when needed.

Easy set up and good protection from the bugs and elements.
This shelter is very easy to set up and take down one person can handle it. A real pleasure to sit inside and not worry about bugs or weather wrecking your camping fun. We bought the 12by12foot one and can easily sit six people around the dining table. Only wish we had bought one sooner.
