I bought the 6 pack to use for my scarecrow costume. I made some bracelets with pieces sticking out that could go under my plaid shirt cuffs as if my scarecrow stuffing was sticking out. It worked for that purpose.I didn’t realize raffia “ribbon” was just a bunch of pieces, and not a Long continuous piece. You couldn’t use this for a large gift box because the pieces aren’t long enough. I can’t imagine how you’d weave a hat as shown in the sellers description since most of the pieces were thin and were split numerous times. It would be very ratty looking if you could make it work at all. But if you want to look like a scarecrow and have 5.75 rolls extra for gift wrap and bows then this is the right stuff. I don’t know why I bought so much, and even though I do love decorating pretty presents, it will take the rest of my life to get thru this order.

This isn't good quality at all, very thick strands and hard to work with - unlike any raffia I ever bought before; sorry to say I would not buy it again.

I needed some kind of hay for a small table decoration. Looking around, small hay bales and bundles were pricier than I expected. So I decided to take a chance with this and it was perfect! I just cut the bundles into sections and voila! Messy hay to go under plates and trays. And there's a lot in this package so you get a lot more bang for your buck. Would definitely buy again.

Kept breaking as I worked with it. Ended up throwing away more than half.
