This was my second purchase of this screen door. The first one had great magnets. The elements are harsh on this doorway, so after 2 years the magnetic edge fabric depleted. OK? So I made A REPURCHASE. This door is not near as good! They replaced the really good, wind resistant, strong magnets with thinner, definitely WAY weaker, magnets, now unevenly located (WAY BAD) to where the door WILL NOT CLOSE! I do like the new bottom weights so this one rises to a 2. Thank goodness for alligator clips! (Great Idea!) Got any of the old product? More online purchase parable and fiduciary purgatory for consumers. YICH!

One panel was longer than the other so the magnets didn’t evenly line up, the lace detail that was pictured and mentioned in the description is false, there is no lace detail at all, which I wasn’t disappointed about because I found the lace in the picture to be unappealing. The sticky Velcro does not stay, I came back the next day after assembling and the net was not attached to it anymore. I had to use the tacks and there wasn’t enough of them so I had to go buy more. You can see in the photo that the right panel went on perfectly, the left panel had to be folded at the top to align perfectly with the other panels magnets. And the magnets still don’t keep the screen completely closed in certain spots. Hopefully it will keep the mosquitos out for majority of the time I keep the door open. Also this is a 2 person assembly, if you want it perfectly lined up it takes 2 people to hang it and keep it perfectly straight. Took my daughter and me about 40 min to hang because of one of the panels being longer than the other. Putting the tacks in was the easiest part.

This product is really great for stopping flying pests coming into your house if you don't have a screen or patio door screen. The magnetic opening is easily opened and closed. I only wish there was a way to add an extension to the length or sold in a longer length because my door height is longer than 83 inches but still works great and my 2 dogs can come in and out easily without needing to open the door. It even traps in the cool air if the temperature is hot outside.

I have been wanting one of these screen 'doors' for ages. I am so happy I finally got this one! It was super easy to install, taking me about 10 minutes. It stormed right after I installed it and the velcro strips held tight. I have not needed to use the included tacks. The quality seems very good and it works exactly as advertised. The magnetic self-closing seam works perfectly and the lace decoration at the top is a nice touch. My only con is that I wish it came in white to blend in better with the door trim.My five year old has been going in and out that door all day and not once did I have to tell her to shut the door. Yay!! Even the cats were quick to figure out how to get in and out. :)I love the fresh air and extra light I get by leaving the door open and now I don't have to worry about all the bugs coming in to join us!

I hadn’t thought of using one of these for the actual door of our porch until another reviewer suggested it. It was a LOT cheaper than a new screened door and probably more durable. It also lets a lot more light in because I keep thinking the door is open and then remember it’s the new screen! The more light the better! We like it so much we are going to order a second one for our other door even though it doesn’t really need to be replaced yet.It’s also much easier to manage when you have your arms full - just back into it and you slip right through. No having to finagle one arm free to open the door.My dogs haven’t figured it out yet which I’m fine with because they destroy everything anyway! I’ve seen other reviewers with clearly smarter dogs than ours since they maneuver it just fine.We had it up in less than 10 minutes.

This screen curtain is an excellent alternative to an expensive front screen storm door. Generally, it lasts two warm seasons in the northeast but if kept up all year, probably that year only. But for simplicity, cost, looks, and ease of use, it can’t be beat. The screen is pretty sturdy but the tugs and pulls on the outside trim does take its toll. The screen itself is weather resistant and can be used for other projects.

This was my second time ordering this item. 1st time was great. The 2nd one arrived in the Amazon box but outside of original packing. The tacs were missing. Not a big deal. I had bought some extra tacs earlier. After installing the screen i found out why it had been returned.Weak magnets. The 1st screen took some adjusting to get it to work right. The second screen just stayed open. Its good when it works
