This is a great tool for getting your littles to want to brush.Our grand daughter didn't like to brush when she'd come to visit us for overnights.We ordered this for her to keep here at our house and look forward to using when she visits.The colorful handle and fun electric bristles make her more enthusiastic about brushing and she's brushing longer as well.We love hearing her giggle about the sound and the feel of it over a regular manual tooth brush.As far as the brush itself, I truly can't be certain it is better than a regular brush as far as how clean it makes her teeth or how much better it is for teeth than a regular brush.I can only say that anything that will help you get the littles to brush their teeth without a fuss or a fit - is better than having to beg, and bother the whole house about it.The fact that it will eventually be worn out and have to be thrown away is a downside to be sure.It would be a 5 star item if I could replace the bristle heads to keep it going.However, at the current price point, I've decided to stock up on a few and avoid the worry over it.Overall grateful to have this Fun Firefly Clean N' Protect Barbie Toothbrush here for our visiting family members and believe the product works as advertised.

A single push of the top button starts the toothbrush, and a single push of a lower button shuts it off.How many speeds?Single speed.Is it noisy?Hmm, average?Does the noise startle the user?Hmm, best to transition slowly.Does this attract children’s attention?Yes, it does, in a positive way.Brand?For me, this is a little-known brand of a much larger brand, Perrigo, which I know has been around for decades.Officially licensed product?Yes, per the packaging.Common sense to?I thought it best to check with the family dental/healthcare provider to confirm this appropriate for use.General thoughtsThis battery-operated toothbrush is just what the doctor ordered (brush more often and a tad more concentrated). Children generally want to immediately brush their teeth with this. It’s not frighteningly noisy nor loud and has a reasonable level of vibration and action. The brush came inside a standard, but larger, toothbrush retail blister and cardboard package measuring 9½” x 2¼” x 1½”. The brush itself measured about 8½” long with grip of about 1¼” in diameter. There is a stationary brush head and a rotating brush head.Country of origin?Made in China.Listing accurately displays?Yes, I think it does appear to be as the listing pictured this brush.Antibacterial?The brush cover is said to be so.How is it antibacterial?The packaging noted the brush cover is made with the precious metal silver, which naturally inhibits bacterial growth.Criticism(s)?Nothing of particular importance.Easy to use?For adults? Yes. For very small children? Hmm, can, but it’s a tad big and training is needed if a first-time user.Fit and finishPerfect. Very smooth. Oversized proportions.ValueCompetitively to higher priced, when considering all features; and the idea this whole toothbrush has to be replaced several times a year.Life of brushWhen worn or every three (3) months, whichever is sooner, is the recommendation.Replaceable brush head?No. So, a new toothbrush is required.APPThis does not have a QR code to get a brushing APP, which a competitor has – and is liked.Is this perfect?No, however, as mentioned there are no significant complaints.Rating?Hmm, for me, it’s a very weak five (5) stars. The idea the brush head is not replaceable – most are not for toddler sized brushes – and there was no APP made this less than perfect. What kept this going to a four (4), in part, is the silver [infused] brush cover.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

It is bigger than I expected, though. It says it's for ages 3+ and the description says it's designed with small hands in mind, but I don't know.. seems like it could be difficult for a 3 year old to hold. I could be wrong. I actually don't have kids though, I ordered this toothbrush for myself! It's fun!I like that it runs on a single AA battery. No need to remember to put it on a charger (and no charger to keep track of).

My toddler thinks this toothbrush is super cute. The size of it is nice for littles, and it's really easy for her to use. I feel like it gets her teeth cleaned well which is great. The bristles seem pretty soft which is good for toddlers.
