The Black Magician Trilogy (The Magicians' Guild, the Novice, & the High Lord) Mass Market Paperback – Box set, January 1, 2003

I received only one book out of three and it wasn't even the right book. The book wasn't even marked right. It has a barcode and label stating it's supposed to be the Black Magician Trilogy but it's not even the same author. I'm a little disappointed but Amazon made it right.

I only received the first book of the advertised and photos of The Trilogy

I think it’s little bit of false advertising as you think you are buying the trilogy and it’s only the first book I did enjoy the story though

Book 1 starts out a little slow as it builds several characters. However, once the main character throws the stone, watch out! You won't be able to put the book down. Be sure to have book 2 and book 3 on hand because you will want to immediately start reading the next book. Once one friend read it and passed the series on, the rest of the friends purchased the series, couldn't put the books down, and then passed the books to more friends. Trudi Canavan is superb in this series. I would love to see this trilogy as a movie.
