The original title of this item (which is still reflected in my "Your Orders" list) was "Surface Pro Charger, CIVIE Magnetic Connector Surface Car Charger 45W 15V 3A Surface Pro Charger for Microsoft Surface Pro 3/4/5 New Surface Pro 2017 Tablet with 1.2M Power Cord (Car surface)". It most certainly does NOT work with the 2017 and they changed the title/description to remove any references to "2017' AFTER I purchased it. It does work with a Surface Pro 3, however. Pretty shady.

First time I tried to use this charger it lights up and starts charging for about 40 seconds then it shuts off. Useless junk, do not buy this. UPDATE: Tried communicating with seller, they wasted my time communicating with them and refused to take responsibility. Definately do not buy from this seller.

I drive a lot every day and do a lot of work in my car. I needed a charger for my surface pro and this works pretty good. Slow charging but it keeps me going and not have to stop and find an outlet in the middle of my day.

I love the idea that it's made for car travels. I just didn't like that it doesn't work for my 2017 Surface Pro.
