H2o Kayaks Galvanised Folding Kayak Boat Anchor 0.70 kg (1.5 lbs) 18 cm Long

I've bought several of these either for friends or for myself when I've thrown out the anchor and forgotten to tie it on! They're great for caone fishing, holding fast on a sandy bottom even with a 4 knot running tide, and sometimes with a second canoe tied to mine. However, the trick with any anchor lies not just in the device itself, but in the chain which keeps it angled low on the seabed. Buy a metre of heavy chain to go with it, and a 33 metre length of para cord, and you'll be well fixed for mackerel fishing in depths of up to 20 metres (to allow for some angle).

I like this wee anchor. It is small, but perfectly formed, and well finished with a heavy galvanised coating.As the title suggests, I haven’t used the anchor yet, and it will be interesting to see if it functions as hoped…… being honest, although it looks and feels good, I am slightly concerned about it’s weight (or lack of). I intend to fit a length of chain to the anchor, and am hoping this will assist with anchor grip!!Time will tell!!

Good for the price but the fit is a bit loose. Does work well as a kayak anchor with a short length of light chain and a nylon line.

Im a kayak fisherman and already use a 1.5KG anchpor to hold me in position. So i decided to order a smaller anchor to take out a few small collapsable kreels. i intend to tie the anchor to one end of 100ft of paracord and have 2-3 pots secured onto it.
