Q: What are the actual dimensions of one wafer and how long does it last?

The wafers measure approximately 2" x 2 1/2" .... How long they last is a tough question.... The answer is that it depends on a lot of factors.... First, the fresher the wafers are when you receive them, the better they will last. We operate on a very tight "Just in time" inventory with these...... That means that you might wait a few extra days on occasion to receive them, but they are always fresh. Other factors include things like what kind of background smell you are trying to mask, if any.... Hot weather can shorten the useful life of the wafers.... Some of the scents are more powerful than others to begin with. Creamy Vanilla for example is a strong scent. All of that having been said, most people get somewhere between 3 and 7 days out of each wafer.

Q: Can i renew my 3.5 yr old wafers upon removing them from plastic wrap by spraying water or someting on them?

No, water will not add scent. Unfortunately, these wonder wafers just didn’t do it for me. If they lasted a lot longer I would love them but they just last a couple days and the scent is not strong enough. God bless!

Q: Does it leave a residue on the area it is placed on?

Haven't seen any. They don't leave much fragrance either.
