Product arrived quickly and worked immediately with the app on my phone, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a switch. It is a game changer.

Picked up the HYPERTAG NFC Tag to use with my Switch, and it’s been fantastic so far! The packaging was solid, and it even comes with a USB-C charging cord. The instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Just download the app, update it, and boom—you’re good to go. I was a little worried about the app's ratings on the App Store, but most of the complaints were old. The recent updates seem to have fixed all the issues.The app is really handy. You can search for the game you’re playing, then look for the specific amiibo within that game. I found Daisy under Mario Odyssey, and she worked perfectly! Once you choose your amiibo, just hit "write," and the hypertag beeps to confirm it’s done. Tap the hypertag to your controller, and it works like a charm!For my Pro Controller, the NFC sensor is in the center, so the clip actually fits perfectly there. And it’s awesome how fast you can update the NFC on the app and have it sync right to the hypertag.One of my favorite features is that you can “write” multiple amiibo to the hypertag and then put your phone away. You can cycle through the amiibos just by tapping the power button on the hypertag itself—so convenient, and it works great!All in all, this thing is amazing for anyone looking to simplify their amiibo setup!

The HyperTag NFC generator is just an awesome device to go with your Nintendo Switch. An amazing gift idea for your children who love playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Zelda, even just Mario Kart. It allows you to unlock items as if you own the NFC action figure "amiibos." The HyperTag app just got updated for iOS, it now works great and regularly updates for new figures and NFC codes. It has a lot of features for such a small device. It beeps when it sends the NFC code to the console and in return, it grants the item to the player. It has a great design, very lightweight and small, and good battery life. This is a wonderful way to get more out of your favorite Switch games and, in the end, save money as well. Highly recommended for your Nintendo Switch setup! Happy gaming.

Instructions are missing several steps, but once you figure out the missing steps ot works perfectly. Most notable, the device needs to be within a few inches of your phone, but not touching. If it's too far away the app won't see the device, and if it's touching the nfc sensor the app gets confused and fails the writing.

3 stars as I couldn't get this to work. Followed instructions and no luck, I found it easier to just use the writeable nfc cards. maybe it was my fault, so leaving 3 stars for the possibility it does work after all.

I wish I should have well this works. Comes fully charged out of the box, and works alongside an app with everything already on it. I thought I would have to supply files myself, but everything's taken care of for me. It connects with perfect ease, with no noticeable lag or issue of any kind.Really easy to use, just select what you need, there's several different categories to choose from, and they all seem to work. I've had no problems whatsoever. Definitely recommend to gamers!

I got this initially so I can scan in some amiibos for Switch but ended up looking at some other uses and decided to create some automations that launch when this NFC tag is scanned by my phone.
