This book was purchased to get me ready for a class on Tibetan Buddhism. This book explains indepth about the Tenets of Tibetan Buddhism and especially the Geluk school of thought. This book isn't for a beginning Buddhist. You will want some basic understanding about Tibet and how Buddhism came to be there. Good read for advanced students........

Understanding the differences among the Buddhist schools of philosophy is not easy. This is a well-written and clear guide with an excellent introduction to tenets. Thanks to the authors.
